[Resolved] Tata Sky — Unprofessional and cheating | |
To The Chairman Tata Group Sir This is with utter dissapointment i am sending this mail. I am Santhosh Kumar who was a customer of Tata Sky (Sub ID:[protected]). I had moved to a new residence this 7th and i had registered a request to shift my connection to my new residence. Unfortunately it has never happened on date. Your engineers first came to my place on 9th and told me that your dish could capture pictures only thru South East dirction and that my flat was not in that direction. Hence it was difficult and that i had to pay a total of 1400 Rs for a new new coder and cables etc. Firstly i informed that i will not pay a single penny extra as its not my fault that Tata Sky can capture pictures only in 1 direction. For which i later on agreed to pay. Today 13th Jan, ur engineers visited my place again and informed that it is very difficult to install in this place and if i take the builders permission they can give it a try and that they had no guarantee that it will work properly after 2 months. Infact they advised my wife to go for a cable connection rather than continuing with Tata Sky. This is a genuine techincal fault of Tata Sky and as a custmer i dont have to suffer at all. For the last 1week it has become a nuisance for me with various executives calling me now and then which is affecting my official duty as well. Pls also note that noboby from Tata Sky had informed me on installation that there is a technical of such nature with this connection. Had i known it during that time i wouldnt have taken this connection. This is like dumping a connection onto somebody without giving full details of the connection. This is i think the biggest mistake i made of opting for a Tata Sky connection. I have spend another 3000Rs. now and taken a asianet digital connection and i am a very happy customer of asianet now. I have had my Tata sky relocated as well, but without any trouble whatsoever. I had to let them know in advance and then they scheduled the installation and was done very smoothly. In fact they clearly were very professional and efficient in their service which highly impressed me .
