[Resolved]  Tata Sky — No signal

I have been using Tatasky since more than 1 year now... My ID No. [protected]

Since the month of November 08, I am getting "No Signal" daily from 0500 to 0900 hours.
I have complained several times ( nearly 20 times on phone and through mail) but the problem
is the same. Every time they say your complaint will be attended to but in vain.

Kindly do the needful.

Hey Munirathinam, we've refreshed the signal. Please turn off the set top box for few minutes. Turn it on and check if the problem persists.

All new and wannabe subscribers of Tatasky in Mangalore, please note, there is a major -No Signal Problem- in coastal states when it is about to rain and remains until the rain stops. Whatever little signal is available leaves the picture completely scrambled beyond the scope of viewability. This problem could last for anything between one to a couple of hours. I have tried all incl attendance by the technician which, if attended is a bogus call just to satisfy the costumer. The problem is with the sattelite and the signal.
Have heard dish TV has the same problem too. But cant comment as I dont own the same.

Unfortunately, the above two service providers are among the most preferred.

Just a matter of caution.

Tata Sky — Misleading and harassing customers

I like to register a complaint against the whole help desk process. My subscriber ID is [protected].

First of all I have registered a complaint regarding "Unavailability to view services" on 23rd October. My complaint no. is then SR[protected]. From Tata Sky, I have got a SMS on my registered mobile no. stating “Your Tata Sky request ref WO No. 1-[protected] is scheduled on 24/10/2010, 14.00 hrs. For any further assistance, our service team can be contacted on [protected]” And I also got an email stating “We will respond to your request by 24/10/2010 02:48:11 PM.”

Then on 24th October, after 2 PM, when I have contacted on that no., a person called Alok Patro responded and stated that he could not do anything. He also cut the phone harshly. Nobody solved our problem on 24th October and we were deprived to watch the TV throughout the day.

On 25th October, when I checked my online id on Tata Sky, the query status was showing as closed, though the problem was not solved. So, that day again I have to register a complaint and my complaint no. was SR[protected]. From Tata Sky, I have got a SMS on my registered mobile no. stating “Your Tata Sky request ref WO No. 1-[protected] is scheduled on 25/10/2010, 16.00 hrs. For any further assistance, our service team can be contacted on [protected]” And I also got an email stating “We will respond to your request by 26/10/2010 02:47:22 PM”

Nobody has come and fixed that problem to on 25th October. When contacted on the helpline nos. , the people present there did not help me and throughout gave me wrong infornations. I have already contacted the helpline nos. for 20 times for the past 4 days. Sometimes they did not pick my phone.

And today, on 26th October when I am checking my online ID, no query no. SR[protected] is showing.

I just want to ask few questions.

1. How can a query get closed, when the problem was not solved?
2. How can you delete a query from my online profile?
3. Why the people at the helpdesk misguiding the customers?

I am very much disappointed.
Tata Sky gives the worst service in lucknow area. whenever i register any complaint for non signal problem, they give the false statement that our engineer would reach you within 48 hrs. I receive sms from tata sky on 27.11.10 that our engineer visit scheduled @ 18.00 hrs on 27/11/10, but no one has contact me.

Very poor service in lucknow..........

My Tata Sky subscriber ID is [protected]. There has been a problem of "No Signal" since yesterday morning (and it is past 5 in the evening now), and I logged a complaint (reference SR[protected] yeaterday morning 9.30 am. The service of this company is absolutely useless, and the service people have just memorised a line "Sorry for the inconvenience, an engineer will visit you soon". If you ask for a time of the visit, they say that cannot be confirmed, but it will be "soon". Which in my case has not been for the last 2 days. Thinking of waiting for 1 more day after which I'll dump it and take some other provider. Rajesh.
It is same here for us from almost one week even after many calls.. the same issue.. bull sit.. sorry...
I wish in the dictionary of Customer Care Sorry should be punishable conversation with customer getting at least few 1000's for every sorry.. unless this happens.. I don't think things can change..

To say things are delayed.. they give excuses such as local operator issues.. hardware problem (even with out any engineering visiting you place)

Oh god.. save india.. from people not doing their jobs..looks like this is more serious issue than bribary (of-course they still get paid and look for month end salary.. shamelessly.. in some organisation they get promoted to.. saying we close this many issues after escalation)

Tata Sky — NOT RECEIVING SIGNAL

PLS HELP ME IN RECEIVING THE SIGNAL & VIEW THE CHANNEL ,AFTER GIVING SO MUCH OF COMPLAINT THROUGH CUSTOMER CARE CENTER THERE IS NO RESPONSE ,SO I HAVE THOUGHT OF SWITCHING TO OTHER DTH TV NETWORK. ITS BETTER I[censored] CHECK THE COMPLAINT .

TATA SKY- Sure its taking people's dissatisfaction and patience level sky high...I wonder how long can u sustain yourself in the market like this. Tata Sky is very efficient when it comes to informing people about the next due date for a recharge and when done, their work is over and out. I got my account recharged and i cannot be more pleased, got a message at the earliest from them stating that the amout has been recvd. but did our t.v flash anything other than "NO SIGNAL"??? No marks for guessing, a big NO. A call at the Customer care center did no good, just got to listen to 2 very contradictory customer service associate. The lady tried hard rectifyng my problem in hindi saying "MADAM AAP ZERO, ONE AND SELECT SATH ME DABAEYE" and mind it sath me dabane par resulted in nothing. So the blame was on me stating that "madam aap kar ni pa rahi he" and instantly she offered to send across an engineer, appreciated.another call at the call center and the associate says do not press 0, 1 and select together please and screams at me for me not getting the response he expected out of the tv. engineer comes, changes some instrument in the box charges 125 rs. for the visit, and 125 rs . for the instrument. hell. so does the tv works???
everything boils down to NO SIGNAL...
Can these people be a little more responsible inhandling customers and stop taking their concerns for granted. I strongly disapprove of their acts and
their extreme casual attitude in dealing with their services...while i write this, i wait for the engineer to come an answer our pleas...my subscriber id is [protected]...does this message make any difference?????
Poor Signal is one of the main concerns for almost every DTH users.
Tata Sky is one of the providers who have poor signal quality. Hence they have now introduced a bigger dish to the old subscribers but not free of cost.
Tata Sky hardly provides anything free of cost.

Tata Sky — Service harassment

I had applied for TATA SKY DTH TV on 23rd June 2011, still now there is no response from their side, though i spoke with customer care several times, but every time they missed their commitment and ignore my request. Still now there is no response from their side.

My tatasky was not in use for the past three months. when i connected yesterday, it says nosignal and for some channels says you have not subscribed for this channel. I have subscription for Southern Starter pack and due in jan 2012. When tried with another tatasky digicom, it was working fine. It means there is no prob in the signal, only the prob with my receiver. I have subscription then why it does not work? anybody could u provide solution.

I am in Chennai an i have complaint at the call center for Sunday 27.11.2011 and till date there is no one for service and they say they can't help and for other offers there are 100 calls and The call center people feel customers are a fool???
Its really surprising.

My Id is [protected] have signal problem from last 3 days.Post registrating the complaint no one has visited to resolve the issue.The local service engineer order to register a complain of relocation & informs the charges.This is the new way of colleciing money by misguiding customer.

Request you to kindly have a look in the issue to resolve on priority.

I have bought just Tatasky last week, My ID No.[protected], and find that every day there is no signal, especially after 11a.m.
Why should this happen in a new connection??
