[Resolved] Tata Teleservices — Refund not processed for 3.5 months | |||
How do you deal with thieves who say they are a company? --> Late July, I wanted a Tata Photon connection. An agent gave me wrong information about which documents are required. --> After taking my Rs 2,500, the "manager" said the documents are wrong; he cancelled it and said the refund would take 3 weeks. --> One month later, there was one phone call every day from me, "system issue," etc. --> Then the manager gave excuses like "he is in hospital," with his friend answering the phone. --> The "nodal officers" are all just workers in a call centre! Three months on, I was speaking with them every day for two days. No action. --> The "appellate authority" is a call centre! I was speaking with them every day for two days. No action, except that Sangeeta Nair of Tata Teleservices called and confirmed my details. Two/three weeks since then, no action taken. (They took my money giving false info, now they don't get back; more than 100 days!) Sangeeta Nair of Tata Teleservices, along with maybe 15 others I have spoken to... all say it's a "system problem." But the "system" doesn't have my money; some people do.
