Lost the ITR acknowledgement
I had filed my ITR returns through a website called tax spanner. Firstly it gave me a lot of problem in filing the returns then after i completed that they have lost the acknowledgement form from the Incoem tax Department. NOW I HAVE NO PROOFS WITH ME THAT I HAVE FILED THE RETURNS...this is a horrible situation for me and i don't know how to handle it.They are saying that its thier mistake but its not going to help me.

I had filed my ITR returns for the PAN - BLVPS8166C through an auditor . and even I got the IT returns acknowledgement . For declaration of tax savings for[protected] I need to enter the IT returns acknowledgement number which i have lost .

Please let me know how can I get the duplicate copy of my IT returns acknowledgement for the year[protected] .

I HAD FILED THE ITR 1 THROUGH YOU AND THE PAYMENT OF RS 165/- WAS PAID THROUGH PNB NET BANKING. SO FAR I DO NOT HAVE ANY PROOF TO IT NEITHER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WAS RECIEVED . Hi I have filled the ITR for the financial year 2008-09 through physically and make the payment of Rs 200/- which was paid through cash.So far i do not have any proof to it neither acknowledgement is received and yet i have not received any confirmation mail/sms and it has been passed almost one week.Kindly look into the matter and advice me accordingly for further step, if i have to do something else in this regard.

If you filed paper return, then you can get it only from the assessing office of your jurisdiction.

If you e-filed your return, then you may still get ITR-V by logging on to income tax department's site https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do

I have filed the ITR through Allegro and they misplaced the acknowledgement and now they are saying that I had collected it from them although I had never collected it.
Can someone tell me please how can I get a duplicate copy of the acknowledgement for the year 2008-09.
