its the case of tonie[protected]..me n my mom had to go to byculla from bhendi bazar..but no cab willing to take us to the destination..evn though thy were just standin or goin empty, it was only 8.45 pm. one such cab number we noted down MX 0I 628.. he was rude n started arguing. we surely wants some action taken against him. if there is any processer plz let us know.

hi!! this is Mrinmayi I work at lower parel in Radio Mirchi office.I stay at CBD belapur & recently been treated for ligament fracture on my left knee.Around 6:30 on 25.08.09 evening i took a taxi from the signal near maharashtra wada pav wala at lower parel, wanting to go to cotton green station.As we crossed the curry road flyover i instructed to take a right but instead of taking a right he went straight as if he didnt hear.After a while he asked me the way to cotton green station(where the construction is of the road os going on) i said if he didnt knew then why didnt he take a right ..he said he knows the way but from passing thru sweree area which was of course a long route.he was very rude he stop the taxi & asked me to get down said he can't go further & asked for money.i refused to get down at first but afterwards i told him i will get down but wont pay as he didnt drop me at the desired destination.i got down took a another taxi but he just stood in front of the taxi refused to let me go.i asked him to come to the police station with me first he agreed but then he refused & starting asking me for the cab money.after much arguement i gave him the money many people gathered also.
I just want to tell u nowadays the taxi drivers act as if they do us a favour.they are arrogent rude bully single women.Its trouble getting a taxi nowadays i dont get a single taxi after 6pm from matulya centre lower parel.they want lamba bhaada.there should be a rule that the taxi driver should be willing to go any where in the certain timings.
I want you to take some action against this taxi driver taxi no is MH01 J 1921 Name Jamirudddin license no.74387.

RTO — overcharging by taxi

Dear Mumbai Traffic Police,
I hired a taxi from McDonald's restaurant at Linking Road, Bandra west, Mumbai to Shivaji Park, Mahim west, Mumbai. Taxi number - MH 01 G 586, at 11.48 pm January 20th, 2010. Before I got into the taxi, I clarified with him that he would not charge me night charge as it wasn't yet midnight. But on reaching my destination, he started arguing with me that since it was past midnight (12.10) on reaching Mahim, he would now charge me night charge. I attempted to argue with him, but he got very aggressive & so I gave up since it seemed dangerous to argue at that point of time. The pre-midnight fare is approximately Rs.50, but I was forced to pay this thug Rs.70.
I request you to take action against the errant driver so that in future, he will not be able to continue cheating and harrassing single women like myself. I would appreciate a feedback on my email id.

Dear Mumbai Traffic Police,

I hired an auto richshaw from Vikhroli station west to Hiranandani SEZ Kensington . NO traffice on the route it should have amounted to Rs 27- 32 amounting to Rs 39 and refusal of Re 1 by the Driver.
Auto Rickshaw number is MH -03 AA 7706

Taxi Driver — Taxi Driver refusing to travel

I wanted to travel from Cuffe Parade (opp icai institute) to Ballard Pier, taxi driver with veh regn no.MH01JA2140 refused to travel. I have heard that this is public transport and the drivers cannot deny the passenger, but this happens every now and then.

Can some action be taken on this. Please confirm.

I travel every day from Dahisar to MIDC tungaparadise via Arey my fare isalways 130 Rs this fellow is charging me 150 Rs Im sure the meter is very fast MH-02-QA3954 pls check
