[Resolved] Taxi — Rude behavior of taxi driver | |||
Dear Sir, I was walking on the left side on Eldams Road, towards Alwarpet Junction, A Taxi (Tata Indica-yellow board) bearing number TN 09 BF 5266, was wrongly parked on the right side, beyond side walk line obstructing movement of people and vehicle. When I crossed the car, the taxi driver reversed the vehicle, but there is no beeper or light to indicate the backward movement of vehicle. The vehicle hit me from the back on my hand, the front wheel of the car might have crushed my foot if I have not taken it quickly, In a reflex I tapped the vehicle. The taxi driver came out started obusing me with bad words and tried to attack me. He shamelessly obused me for tapping the vehicle. There is no safty for the people who are law obidient and walking. The ruffian seems to be a criminal. Without any provocation, and even after his unlawful trffic violation, he tried to attack me and thretened me. Kindly, pass on this to the Regional Transport Office concerned and Traffic Police. I do not know exactly where I have to lodege compliant for this kind of offences. Please do go ahead and complain for the TAXI driver. Taximen office in Mumbai is in Tardeo. These taxi guys try to live on fear factor, don't get concerned about that. Mumbai is not so dangerous or so easy for anyone to hurt you ...that too a taxi driver... You should have called your neighbours and beat the hell of the driver at the same time itself.

Complain about Taxi drivers — Taxi Driver's rude behavior
I along with my wife and two children got down from my building to go to a temple. There was a taxi standing near the gate of our building. I requested him to take us to the temple and bring us back. He refused. I asked him then why was he standing in front of our gate? To this he replied with abusive language. I told him that I would complain about him to which he threatended me saying "I know where you stay, you will also face the consequences". Now I am confused should I complain about this taxi driver to RTO or to the Local Police. Please advice.The Taxi I am refering to has the registration number : MH02 6404.
