[Resolved] Ticketgenie.in — IPL Tickets were never delivered.Match dates have gone by. | |
Hi We had booked 3 tickets each for 2 matches - 12th March and 13th March in Mumbai. After constant followup with the ticketgenie guys, the 12th March tickets were delivered on 10th March.(Please note that the Ticketgenie Helpline given is only accessible through a Reliance phone and if called from any other service provider, the call drops and does not get through!). We never got the 13th March tickets (Rs 2000 each). On 12th night, we were told that we could collect the tickets directly at the Ticketgenie counter on 13th before the match. When we went to collect the tickets, we were told that our tickets were already been sold off and we had no right to ask anything! We incurred a loss of Rs 6000 due to ticketegenie. I think we need to raise this with the Ticketgenie guys. You should file a complaint in the consumer court for this. Even I am waiting for my tickets for 18th March in bangalore and will certainly do so if I dont get it.

I also tried booking tickets via this site and page cannot be displayed error was displayed after i gave my credit card details, money got deducted. I called them up and they told me, i will get the money in 7 days. I tried booking on 05 march, and still havent got my money back. I am being duped for 3060 bucks.

I have the same problem...for the match on the 20th in Mumbai. Still waiting. The email and phone problem is ridiculous! I've been trying to call since the past 3 days and I've sent mails to all the given adddresses.

I do have the same problem, I have booked the ticket online and tickets are not yet recieved, there is no response from Ticketgenie. As you told we need to sue these guys. I think we need to write to IPL Chairman Mr Modi on this, as they have selected Ticketgenie as ticketing agency. The email ID of chairman is [protected]@iplt20.com. Litterally I have wasted my weekend for following up with these guys and there is no response from them. I think we need to teach lesson to these guys.

If any official from Consumer Forum reads this complaint, I would like to request him/her to take the necessary legal action against the Ticketgenie.in/ as in my opinion this is direct mental harassment to the consumer from Ticketgenie side.
