Tikona — Tikona doesn't disconnect - keeps sending the bill - No service, just harassment! | |||
I was using Tikona boradband connection (User ID - [protected]) - was experiencing extremely low speed and almost zero connectivity for 3 months (July, Aug, Sep 2011). Despite calling them again & again Tikona didn't disconnect my subscription and kept sending me bill. I even wrote to their nodal officer - who said that I'll recieve a call - but nobody called me. Their device is stiill on my terrace after one year. The whole Jul & Aug 2011 - my connection didn't work (there was extremely low speed & constant disconnection) - yet I paid Rs. 907 on Sep 2 2011. And kept calling and writing them to disconnect my account - but to no avail. Nobody called or contacted me to disconnect my account - instead they kept sending me bill for a connection which doesn't work. They forwarded my case to their collection services which kept harassing me. After one year, their lawyer from Mumbai calls me to tell me that they've recieved a complaint against me for which their's a fine of Rs 30,000. He told me that I should pay Rs 1416.07 in the next 1 hour on tikona website or they'll register a case against me. If Tikona doesn't disconnect my account and keeps sending me bill for a connection that doesn't work - what can I do? I want my Rs 907 back as well - because their connection didn't work for a whole month of August 2011 - and yet they sent me a bill. There are several cases exactly like me with Tikona - and you can read them online. I have emails with their nodal officer to support everything and I would like to punish this cheat company for harassing their customers. Please help me. Was this information helpful? | |||
