[Resolved]  Tikona Wi-bro — Forcing to pay bills generated after permanent disconnection of the service.

Dear Sir,

PART 1
This complaint is regarding Internet services provider Tikona Wi-Bro. My user ID was :- [protected]. I had disconnected the ISP service somewhere in September 2010 clearing all their previous dues by cheque which got cleared as well. I disconnected all their devices and never connected the same back again.

PART 2
After which I had specifically called their helpline no. and escalated the call to their supervisor Mr. Mandar to disconnect the same permanently (service got disconnected within 1 hour). After which I got 2 confirmation calls from TIKONA asking for a feedback and the reason for disconnection of the same.

PART 3
Now they are calling me 7th Feb 2011 stating that I have my previous dues of Rs 7000(obviously false amount) and they would settle the same for Rs 1200. When replied that I have no such dues and have already disconnected the same long back clearing all the dues, they started talking in a very RUDE and ARROGANT manner stating that the charges were RENTAL and it was disconnected temporary and not permanently, also it was my mistake that I did not call them and follow up with the company to confirm that weather my service was disconnected or not. He said it was disconnected temporary and not permanently.
Also he stated that we are very busy doing a lot of work so it was your job to call us back to confirm the disconnection.
NEED HELP!!!!
Kindly help me as I had already raised a request to disconnect the connection which was acknowledged by the company within 1 hour. Why should I pay for the company's mistake and negligence? I also havea part of the RECORDING of our conversation where the company’s representative was talking in a very rude and ill mannered and illogical way trying to force me to pay the BILLS generated after disconnection and threatening me to move to court and then force me to pay the bills.

Also he debating on useless issues like
1) Who was the supervisor you called.
2) What was his no.
3) Why don’t you call him back now etc. etc.

NOTE: - 1) All the devices provided by the company are handed over to them.
2) I did not receive any bill after disconnection of the same.

No Update from Tikona since 2011 no calls, emails messages, seems the case is closed and can be deleted. No steps as such was initiated by the company and the thread is pending since a very long time.

i have already disconnected broadband connection on 8th of June also handed over the modem and cleared my last month bill. I am not using the service from 8 th June as customer care people advised me to not to use the service from 8th of June to avoid bill. please explain me why i got this bill again and again???

Hi!

I had done a big mistake to take tikona broadband connection. After requesting for disconnection on 8th June still now I am getting bill….

Not only one time I have placed my request to customer care several time without any result… I got a call from technical people for collecting the router but nobody came. My userid [protected] . I am requesting you to kindly help me out from this situation. I ll not pay any single money from 8th June onwards.
