[Resolved]  TIN - NSDL — Regarding Correction in PAN Card

Dear Sir,
I am Professor Kalyana Chandrashekhar Iyer working at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. I had been allotted PAN card in 1997 by Bhubaneswar IT office when I was working in DRDO at Balasore. There had been an error in spelling of name. My name in the PAN card is spelt as "Chandrasekhar" instead of "Chandrashekhar". I was recently appointed as Independent Director in a company and the company officials along with several documents also requested me to submit PAN Card copy. After seeing the mistake in the name they asked me to get it corrected by applying online with TIN-NSDL. Accordingly, I did fill up the online application form and deposited the necessary amount through net banking.on 05th Jan 2012. After depositing the money I waited as per instructions of NSDL site's instructions: "Please wait while your transaction is in progress", I waited for over 15 minutes, when I suddenly sound that the session has expired and I was advised to login and redo the entire exercise. Since I had done my job till deposition of money, I contacted NSDL Pune office on 05th on phone, when their call centre executive said that transaction would take one day, it would be better i.e., I contacted on 6th. A new executive even without listening to me says it would take 2 to 3 days to get to know the acknowledgement and asked me to contact on Monday, the 9th Jan. She also advised me to send a mail giving details of application, etc. which I did on 6th.
When I contacted NSDL office today on phone, I had to struggle with yet another representative who asked me to call them on after two days. Even after a lapse of 4 days, they are not in the position to acknowledge the receipt of online application and money, leave aside the remaining formality. The call centre executives do not even let me talk to their superiors and I completely clueless whether I should submit another application and deposit the changes once again, or they have received the details sent online and they are working on it.
I have sent two mails: one on 6th and the second today. Request for kind intervention please.

My Name is KUMARAN S/O GANESH & my PAN is AVLPG7221P in database my name is not matching with the PAN provided. Kindly check and mail me to the below mentioned e-mail id, the procedure to rectify the same.

NSDL — Regarding the Executives

All the executives including the seniors are bloody they don't give the full information just look to them they use to do arguments with the customer they don't know how to attend the customer they don't have any manners the mistake is done by ur team n blaming to the customers i want the reply on my cell number at [protected] or [protected] other wise i will do the complaint in all over the India i will send this news to the press just want the reply and want my pan card as soon as possible + i want the amount return which i spend on the fax which is Rs.70 and today itself i am posting u the documents in evening it will reach to u by Friday or it may can reach u earlier also i dont care i want the pan card in a week after reaching docx to u otherwise i will take this news to the press and u all have to give the answers
