[Resolved] Titan — Octane Watch Model No. 9209SM01 Non-functional for the 2nd time after purchase | |
Dear Sir, I'as gifted an octane series watch that was purchased from 'World of Titan, Marathalli, Bangalore' on 24th of May 2008 and I believe that both me and the friend of mine who gifted this watch have been mistaken in our expectations of quality standards and service from the brand and the group behind the brand. The chronograph started malfunctioning within a couple of days which took more than 2 weeks to repair at 'World of Titan, Andheri (E), Mumbai'. The watch has come to a stand-still again for the 2nd time in less than 2 quarters after it'as first repaired. Its painful as well as frustrating to give a watch that claims 'be speed...be more' for a servicing over and over again, given that I would hardly bother to play with most of the functions in it. I would really request you to take it back as I really don't have the patience, time and energy to again give it for repair. I guess you are setting a new low in this industry, I've other watches from relatively unknown brands functioning for years without an iota of pain. As this watch was gifted to me, I really hate to say this but you people really are disappointing everyone who looks up to the brand with certain expectation of quality and service standards. I have purchased a titan Battery No. N-379 from Watch Care Centre, Golden Moments, Naudra BridgeJabalpur, on 06.09.2000 vide Cash Memo No. 2976 within two days of its use it got discharged on 12.9.2009 when I reported it to your aforesaid authorised dealer, it is revealed from them that the battery is got discharged. However denied to replace the same. Hence this complaint you are requested to kindly look in to the matter and replace the battery. In case within 5 days no reply is received from you I shall be constrained to approach Consumer Forum, Jabalpur for compensation.
