[Resolved]  Tnt Couriers — Item missing in Parcel, even I paid custom duty

Here I am mentioning the whole communication between me ([protected]@yahoo.co.uk) and TNT Officials

Me 1st July, 2010 :
Sir/ Madam,

Here also adding Dr Paula Andrea Malagon Rozo (Sender, Colombia).
I got parcel on June 29, 2010 from Dr Paula (Colombia), after paying customs duty, directly at the office of TNT Courier, JAIPUR.
That time I found the Packet had broken seal, so I asked the officers of TNT to open the package at the office of TNT Couriers.
So I opened the seal infront of the staff members of TNT.
I received the following things with Invoice cum packing list:
1. Shirt (Printed Fabric sky color)
2. Wallet (brown)
3. The coffee powder
4. Perfume
5. A plastic bag (2"x2") of Black glass holed pcs (that material mostly using for making artificial Jewelry)
6. Also got a small booklet of wristwatch (TOMMY HILFIGER brand name).

But according to the invoice cum packing list, the fifth article not found according to the list.

As per the invoice cum packing list, the fifth article is a wristwatch.

These following things are as per invoice cum packing list:

After checking the entire packet, I was surprised.
My sender sent me a wristwatch, and here I only got brochure of the watch company, along with all items 1-4. (itemized as in invoice cum packing list).

At that time I informed all senior officers of TNT Courier. And Mr. Prem, Mr Damodar and Mr. Dinesh from TNT are wittness for that incident.
And finally, I said to Mr Dinesh to help and find the missing item (Watch).
We took photos of all items received.
They told me they will try to get the missing item (Watch), and he sent a email regarding this matter to the Delhi Office, because the packet was unseal at New Delhi for custom duty formality, so its quite possible it may left at Delhi's TNT Counter. Reply me urgent.

(After missing item, I had talked with sender so many times, as well as I had visited your Jaipur office 3 times and expenses on telephones)
Mentaly Harrashment : INR 10000.00
(It was a gift, and as you know a gift can make mad a person, and money can never fill the space of heartiest gift)

NOTE: Total cost you can calculate at your end, so that I could answer my sender, ASAP.

I hope above things are well in manner and sufficient for your investigation.

I had word with him on 26th July 2010 , Tel:[protected], he confirmed me, that his computer not working. Today after 2 days I am still waiting. So expecting a prompt answer from u.

Today I had word with MR. Damodar (Jaipur Office), he told me that I'LL get my amount after an year, so I don't Think so this in an attitude of TNT staff, pls look into the matter and solve it urgently, my sender is upset due to irresponsibility of TNT. As per the below mails i got confirmation of getting amount in 15 to 20 days so need to work very fast from ur side.

How you doing business? for these words you were investigating from last june 2010. Everyone knows the consignment always books at sender end not at cnee end.
I know always shipper books the consignment and recieved by cnee. I am also doing same business, ok? so do not teach me.
Give me claim, ok?

And after two months you saying it will be claim at origin, than where I have to file for Custom duty, tell me.. It was paid by me at your office. Should I have to claim for that custom duty at origin? Please advise me for custom duty claim....

Hi,

I am told to remit the sum of $USD 275 to the company in the name of Mr Ajayi Sadiq for a depatch fees of a parcel to me.
May I know whether there is this person by the name of Ajayi Sadiq designation Senior Cashier Officer working with the company.

I request TNT Courier to refund the product / Money at the earliest and Since this product belongs to TIMESINDIASHOPPING and the said company is not returning the money as product is not delivered back to them . I request TNT COURIER to investigate the matter how the prodcut is missing from the said packet. TNT Courier should return the product or refund the cost of product to me immediately. there is considerable delay in correspodance in three organisation (homeshop18, TNT Courier and INDIATIMESHOPPING, surprisingly indiatimeshopping is not pressing hard to TNT courier about their product (which is their official agency for courier purpose) and i have to follow up with TNT Courier service). Please do the needful for getting my money back.

Please do not ever give any Draft or Cash to these people.(Mostly Nigerians)

Your money is siphoned off & they will keep demanding more & more.

Just think, why would anyone give you anything for free & then demand money for you to claim it.

Sir/Madam,
I am an NRI. I send often parcel to my family in Irimpanam 682309, Ernakulam, Kerala, India. The parcels are always open and items are missing. How can we send things to india ? When are they going to change this attitude ? Why would they steal things those are belong to others. If they continue doing this , I will ask my family not to accept these parcels. I hope someone who is in charge notice this and take action. These things don't happen anywhere in the world except in india. I feel shame to complaint about this at the foreign post office from where I send things to irimpanam india.
