[Resolved]  Total Mall — Abused

Hello sir. its really unfortunate to read this mail. Im working in organised retail sector since some 12 years and what i have learned there i will share with you. Every big or small size retail store is equipped with security gadgets like cctv, rft codes (these are the ones which start beeping when you try to go out of the store without billing a particular item) etc. Then there is something called VM (visual merchandising) this is used for a customer's guidance through signages or directions etc.
In all the retail companies the rule is, in case the security tower which is installed at the exit gate of the store starts beeping (which clearly means that there is something un-billed with the customer) then decently send the customer back to cash counter or take to the cash counter, check the bills thoroughly, check the bags thoroughly and then bill the items which are un-billed, because this can happen due to a mistake of cashier on the counter also. as at times they forget to de-activate the code or they only forget to bill and put the stuff in carry bag.
The case is treated as so called theft when they find that customer is not storing the stuff in trolley or basket while shopping and instead keeping in pocket or trying to hide. Or specially when the merchandise is not in the sealed or un sealed shopping bag.

Now to talk abt Total Mall. Though they run such a big setup but they lack on such practices. Neither they have CCTVs, Neither they have rft codes, and the worst part is that the communication inside the store to guide the customers is also missing majorly. Above all their security is not apt to understand difference between mistake and intention. Their nature is not at all helpful.

Only suggestion to you is avoid shopping in such places and getting yourself embarrassed.

Total Mall Madiwala Is Pathetic To The Core - No Doubt

I had ordered for a sofa set which they delivered 12 days post the date said by them that too only after hundreds of call from our side.
Many a times they never used to answer the calls and at times switch off their cells as well.
Total Mall staff and management has behaved in a very disgusting manner - ABOVE ALL the sofa set I received was defected/faulty and its been 3 months now I am trying to get it replaced but they have not buzzed. I would have made more than 100 calls but no response. 2 people came to my house to see the sofa set on 2 different occasion, they confirmed that the sofa set is faulty but nothing has been done yet.
I have been speaking to Sateesh [protected] and Lawrence [protected] and its hard to say who is more disgusting.

I want to know what action can I take against them and who to approach for a complain - if any idea please help.

I bought a double bed from Total mall Sarjapur road. While buying they told me, I can return this within 1 year with half price. I had to move out from city after one month, and call the furniture cell incharge, he denied any such policy and spoke rudely.I dont find any site for Total Mall where I can complaint such issues, they are misleading customers while selling the stuff.

Total mall(Old Airport Road - Bangalore) is becoming pathetic day by day. This is what happened to me today. I and my husband went there today to buy a bicycle for our daughter but as the size was small we didn’t get it. At the checking point the security checked my hand bag and took out a facewash.he asked the bill for it for which is said that i didn’t get it today from the mall but its mine which i had bought from there itself a month back and am carrying the same from the time i entered the mall but he wouldn’t listen.

Then we were taken to a room where his manager was asking proof? How can i show proof of a thing which is mine and which i had bought almost a month back? Would anyone be carrying bills of all these things? The total mall securities are so idiotic they don’t have a system to check whether the product is from their mall or not? After much hot discussion he asked us to pay for it? We had bought it from there a month back and because of their stupid security system they want us to pay again. We threw the face wash there itself though it was ours and decided never ever to go back there. With such behaviour and such superb securities total mall will soon lose all their genuine customers.

Yes...I am agree with u guys.This old airport toal mall is one of the worst shopping mall i have ever seen.Yesterday 5th july 2014 i lost my gold bracelet worh Rs. 40, 000 and am sure one of their staffs has taken away but after requesting several times to open CCTV footage, so that i can identify who took away my bracelet, that fellows told me iI HAVE NO KEY U JUST WAIT MADAM, , After that i asked him if someone take
away anything from ur shop then u can't findout right...so suddenly hatold me NO NO NOT LIKE THAT WE CAN FINDOUT OUR BELONGINGS...BUT UR BRACELET U CAN"T FINDOUT B'COZ SOME MAINTANANCE IS GOING ON..I COULDNOT UNERSTAND WHAT KINDA FELLOW WAS THAT and WHAT KINDA THAT MANAGAMENT IS, , , , , ALL MOTHER[censored]ERS AND RANDIS ARE THERE ...SO AVOID THAT PLACE
