[Resolved]  Total Mall — Godrej Steel Wardrobe

I had bought a Godrej Steel Wardrobe in Nov 2009 from Total Mall at Sarjapur, Bangalore. I got a poor quality one delivered at my home. The issues I faced are the following:

1) Delivered without any packing like card board. I was told by the delivery boys that new pieces do not come with a packing, but later came to know from the store manager that it should ideally have come with cardboard covering which is not the case. Don't know who has played in between and made a gain here.
2) Delivered at late evening which had 2 deep scratches and I was okay. Later after getting into the room and signing the delivery note, over night in bright light I realised that one side had full of scratches though not deep. Immediately called the supervisor and asked him to deliver a fresh piece and during the call he disconnected. Other issues was that the door started making noice while opening & closing though they had hit it, bent it & corrected before leaving.
3) The worst pain started now. I kept continuously calling Total Mall since I paid them the full amount directly, but with no proper response. I went and met the Manager-In-Charge, Supervisor and some senior people of Total Mall where they made me feel happy. Though they told that people will call me and come & look, nothing happened till 2nd week of Dec 09.
4) After following up again and telling that I will complaint at Consumer court, people from Godrej distributors (S&S enterprises) called and told that they cannot exchange but can repaint the damaged body and fix the noise.
5) A person came over and the noice is corrected, but I am still living with the badly damaged paintings
6) I don't see any value of Rs. 17,000/- paid for the Steel Wardrobe though the brand is Godrej. Who will take responsibility of this?
