[Resolved] Unitech Fresco — Possession delayed by 3 years | |||
UNITECH FRESCO Apartments were purchased in the year 2006, and the possession was promised for the year 2008, and today in 2011, Unitech has still not completed the project, and there are no signs of completion taking place either. We have decided to go to court with this matter, and if any other purchasers o[censored]nitech properties, including Fresco have a similar complaint to lodge, then it can be added to our complaint. I believe there are hundreds o[censored]nitech customers, who purchased these properties with a planning centered around moving into these, and invested their savings in these, and today they are paying rentals out of their pockets, living in alternate accomodations, awaiting their own property to be ready, which is defunct for now, atleast. Someone should pay the penalty for this, and this should be Unitech. We have approached a couple of ministries as well, through our contacts in the PM office. Hopefully, we will bring Unitech to justice very soon. Was this information helpful? | |||

All the real estate players have been experiencing delays in past few years because of various reasons. In big projects like these, often small works like plumbing, wiring etc. aregiven out to contractors specialised in the particular field. Delay on the part of these contractors can also cause the overall delay in the project. As the construction updates indicate, the Fresco project is almost complete and you will surely get possession in two months or so. So my advice to you is be calm and patient rather than getting all worked up.

The latest reply I have received from Unitech's Customer Care is that they have no intention to finish the project before the 3rd quarter of 2012. In my case, it is quite frustrating to know that they have been playing games since they delayed the delivery of my apartment which was scheduled to be delivered by Sep 2010. Since then they have been promising to give possession date 3 to 4 months ahead of your inquiry month.
Truely speaking, they have used our money to fund their other delayed projects or in some other business within the group. They have cheated us and somehow, one should find some solution to this situation. Please contact me on my email address, incase someone has a positive reply!!

Had a chat with Unitech guyz yesterday and they have said that the project with get completed by March 2013...which is a standard 6 months extension to Oct 2012 promise...I have full faith that the project will not get completed then also, as I've been to the site regularly and since last 7-8 months nothing has moved...not even an inch...and if there is no adequate pressure, they won't move either.
If you are aware of some group moving court against Unitech, lets all get together, as we all are going through the same suffering and only collective efforts will bear fruits.
To begin with lets organize a meet in Fresco next saturday where we can see the state of affair for ourselves and decide the future course of action and if possible visit the Unitech office as a collective force.
What say?

Hi All, I completely agree with you all. I also heard that Unitech has not paid its contractor who is responsible for completing the construction and thats why the work is delayed.I heard they did not even pay their employees their Feb 2012 salaries.
Lets file an official law-suit against Unitech. I am going to get in touch with a lawyer soon. Seperately I am also checking the process for filing the complaits in consumer court. I totally agree with the opinions gives above.
Guys, we all know that the project has been delayed but what about the quality these guys are offering.
I really doubt if these Unitech guys are at all concerned about that aspect.
I really wonder how they keep on giving new dates each time we talk to them and keep on extending their promises.
Must appreciate them for being so shameless yet full of attitude.

I sold my Bangalore house and bought a flat in fresco with the intention of relocating to gurgaon.
Because of this delay, I am forced to pay hefty rent now.
I think Unitech has crossed all levels of patience now. Fresco site management sucks big time!!

Infact I along with few other guys had a meeting at the fresco site 7-8 months ago.
The site manager Raj singh Mor gave us the tower-wise revised dates of completion.
According to that, he promised to hand over the possession of minimum 2 more towers by Jan'12.
But seeing the current situation, it doesn't look like he and other officials are at all concerned abt the targets.
I just pray that they get the same pain in return for their misdoings.

Dear All, I am also a Fresco buyer, waiting for possession since 2008. Is it possible that we meet in Gurgaon and create a pressure group at the earliest and decide further course of action ?

Despite various moves by the buyers, these people are still the same.
I had a talk with RajSingh mor last week.But he seems to be more of an than the incharge of fresco.
I discussed about the revised completion dates to which he replied, "I'll update u in a couple of days".I am still waiting for his call.
They know nothing but making fool of others...

I have bought flat in tower 4, about one and half years ago to shift my parents and I was promissed that will get the possession in next 2 months but we are still waiting and every month we call them and they promissed for next month...now I am planning to exit from it and move to another property, also I am seeing that the construction quality is detorating from Unitech standards...

We are all suffering because of the in-ordinate delay. I have also noticed that the Departmentmental GM Customer relations/Care does not attend to any mails you send to him. I have been thinking like many others to get together and start a pressure group. I am at present out of station-back in Delhi mid October 2012. As a first step could we make a mailing group so that we share information. I am not on any of the social network groups like Facebook.

I am in 100% agreement with you all. Unitech brand has detreioted alot. They had collected 95% of money from us and there is no sign of completing the project. I have a flat in Tower 12 and though of moving out from rented accomodation but i am paying the EMI and Rent both which is an unnecessary burden. I suggest lets make a online forum on facebook and joins our hand together and then fight back. Power will come only when we get unite else Unitech will take there own time and we will be in more loss.
