Dear Sir,
I am holding ARS Bonds for a value of Rs.26600/- vide investor ID no.[protected] in the name of my daughter, Ms. SHRUTI SAHU .Though the bonds are stated to have matured on 1st April 09, i am yet to receive the cheque for maturity amount. Even UTI has not paid last two intrest cheques though i have repeatedly complained through letters. It is requested to look in to and settle ihe issue early.

I, Surender Yadav, received cheques, as detailed below, from UTI in the name of my son ABHIMANYU YADAV for the maturity of ARS BONDS. On depositing these cheques on 15th Apr 2009 the same got DISHONOURED with the reason stating "EXCEEDS ARRANGEMENT". On asking the bank they told me that the cheques have bounced due to insufficient funds! This is a matter o[censored]tmost surprise and concern. Doesn't UTI ensure availability of funds in their account befor issuing these cheques?

Despite, the above statement issued by UTI for ARS bond holders, I have not recd the maturity amount for following:

Sub: 6.75% Tax Free US 64 Bond Certificates – Investor Id No.70370417 and Bond Certificate No.12414510 - expiry of bonds after 5 years – maturity amount not received – reg.
Ref: Complaint (Reference No.61965629 : Investor ID:[protected]

Kindly refer to your letter dated 26 Feb.2011 regarding the maturity cheque No.[protected]MICR No.87621) dated 2 June 2008 for Rs.8063.25.

As per your directions I have already been submitted the required documents from my banker stating that the said cheque has not been credited to my SB account till date. Hence I request that if possible I may kindly be informed through which account this cheque has been drawn. I again state that I have no any SB accounts in any banks. Also state that I have a retired employee from government services in the rank of gazetted position and I have no intention to claim an amount falsely from you.

On local enquiry I have come to know that such issues are occurring in certain cases and the UTI has taken steps to issue duplicate chques. I have already submitted request for duplicate cheque. I request that I may kindly be directed the steps to be taken further in this case considering that two years have been passed after the maturity of the bond
