[Resolved] Videocon D24 — Non- seriousness in rectification of wrong name entered into records by the Videocon d2h distributor/ dealer.

May God do something for us (........the poor customers of Videocon d2h).
Dear friends, if you are planning to buy a DTH connection, kindly take a lesson from my under mentioned experience first and then plz decide for a better option.
In the evening of 26.10.2010 I got a videocon d2h installed at my father's governmental residence. The distributor told me that since I have told him the entire details, he will himself fill up the CAF in his office. As I had decided to buy the d2h on my own name, I signed at all the places in the CAF No. 01458281 where the distributor had asked me to do as the customer. On being asked to give, I also gave my Idea mobile number for registration with the Videocon d2h.
Just 3- 4 hrs. later, I received a message on my same idea mobile number that I have been registered as PAGGA SINGH and my customer id is 24813816. Early next morning, many a times I called up the Videocon d2h distributor Sandeep on his mobile number [protected] and firmly told him to correct the mistake. He then said that he mistakenly heard my name to be PAGGA SINGH. He further told that though wrong but the name is now entered and service activated so he can not do anything and only videocon d2h customer care can rectify the mistake and advised me to contact them.
I have since then been calling up the Videocon d2h customer care again and again but they are only delaying the matter.
One stupid executive told that I will have to give an NOC being PAGGA SINGH that my d2h connection may be transfered to ABHINAV JHA. Thus he advised me to be a fake PAGGA SINGH and put signature as PAGGA SINGH.
One executive told me to send an e- mail at [protected]@d2h.com mentioning my entire problem and my -
1) Satellite Box Sr. No
2) Regn. No
3) Customer id number
4) My Reristered mobile number
5) My photo id card
6) My father's id card containing our residential address (since my id card does not contain our present residential address, the executive told that it will sufficiently work)
7) My Scanned Signature identical to the signature put on CAF No.01458281.
As advised I e-mailed a request to the customer care on 30.10.2010 giving all the accurate details and scanned attachments of the asked documents. And today on 01.11.2010 an executive of the customer care called me and showed sympathy. On being asked about the rectification she said that it will take 45 days for them to do anything. And then also there is "probability" that my name may be corrected.
I dont understand that:-
1] when the above numbered CAF contains at all places my easily readable signature as ABHINAV JHA, how can the service be activated for PAGGA SINGH??
2] When PAGGA SINGH is non- existent and mere a wrongly entered name, how can the service be activated without a photo id in the name of PAGGA SINGH??
3] How my idea mobile gets telephone calls when Videocon d2h executives call on the mobile of a non- existent PAGGA SINGH??
4] How the Sr. No & Regn. No. of my satellite box & my mobile number are the same as that of a non- existent PAGGA SINGH??
