[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — Excellent Service

Hi,

I had bought a Videocon Dvd D2h on the 9th of march 2010,
1. was promised a installation on the same day by the dealer by evening. The technician called up in the evening and said would not be coming that day will come next day.
2. The dvd player that i purchased was defective from the time i purchased it, when told the dealer was informed the technician would take care of it and would get a complete replacement from company. The dvd tray was not coming out as it was slantly fitted.
3. The Technician came on 10th March 2010, installed the D2h and when told about the dvd tray said a complaint has been registered and the technician would come the next day. Waited till sunday morning.
4. Called customer care number on 14th March 2010 and it seemed that there was no complaint registered, the executive taught me that since i am a customer in Mumbai and as the call got connected to Pune, i need to call them and tell them that i am facing a inconvenience. Curiously i asked him then what about the complaint registered by the technician who came to install it on 10th March says the person is not directly from Videocon and that is a outsourced department.
5. Registered a complaint as per complaint No. 11978962 as per Work order no 691929 was promised that the technician would be coming that day itself but the date that came up was 03.16.10.
6. Technician came on 03.14.10 saw it when asked about replacing the DVD player says we do not replace it we will have the issue rectified. Then he opened up the player and said he might have to take the dvd player along with him asked him if he could give anything in writing says is not possible. Then said will have the dvd tray replaced but for that i need to call back the next day on 03.15.10. When asked to give in writing that he opened th DVD player and had some wires removed and then plugged in says we cannot give in writing and i have a 1 or 2 year on site warranty.
7. The next day 03.15.10, i called up on the number provided was informed that the technician would be coming by 1.00 pm in the afternoon. After 2.00 pm the number was not reachable.

Thanks for all the help you provided within a week i bought your product, i would like you to please do me one more favor. Can you please take this product back and refund the amount because we people in India are not used to such High quality service.

Mr. Abhisekh, madam Ruma and Mr. Devasish told me some amount will be refound in your d2h account. but I havn't got any amount in my account untill now.

Please take approriate action and clear me status.

similar case here, we had a DVD player, which wasnt recieving any power. we calld upthe technical support. the engineer came home, took away the dvd player on the 25 the may 2010, till now hasnt returned or called regarding it. we keep on calling the call center, every time a new person attends thecall, gives us reassuarance that someone will come to solve our problem, but now we hav no faith left in videocon, we are opting for tata, although lil expensive but not thieves like d2h! i d say stay away frm the honey trap of d2h!

I cant able to see Ten Cricket channel in videcon D2H.
Those how are cricket crazy please dont go for it
I am Using Videocon D2H since 6 months and using Diamond pack of 296 Rs Per month which includes the sports category, as we are aware that the latest Cricket match is being Telecast in New Channel that is Ten Cricket the Videocon Company has seperated this channel from the Sports category and now they are demanding 36 rs more you can understand the fraud they are doing with this customer.

IF THIS FEEDBACK REALLY WORK PLEASE TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION

Hello,

you people are working in Videocon d2h or sleeping. Do you have any kind of sense, from last few days most of the channels are not telecasting. I was trying to call customer care from last year i.e dec 2010 till now i didn't get the line. Please don't trouble to the people. If it is not possible at your end, dont contunue your service. Atleast people will go for some good products.

I bought D2H on 11 Dec 10 @ 2990/- with one month free diamond pack, but my connection was disable 26/11/10. when i ask about that, cutomer service replied about the charges of cable. I hereby state that I have alredy using TATA sky and when I brouht this D2H then the same cable I was using in TATA sky is to be connect with this D2H connection. So the Engineers take back the cable which they brought with antenna. I have complaint regarding this to costomer care services but till now the amounty is not credited back to my account.
Please do the favour.

Excellent service after complain in proper channel.

I couln't imagine that I can get so much quick service from Videocon after email to the customer care. Its just 18 hours and engineers just checked my set top box and solved my problem. Thanks Videocon. Thank u for your quick service.

But one suggestion. I got quick service after email. Then what is the use of customer representative. Please try to improve in this section.

I am customer of videocon D2H with ID no 850433 your customer service people recieved call from AN OBSCUREphone no[protected] & changed our pack from diamond pack to platinum AND NEVER CONFIRMED FRM OUR REGISTERED Mobile no [protected]. Icame to know only when suddenly services were terminated without informing me Ithought there is still 5 days money left. It is highly unethical & against LAW even you used to inform about low balance.They should make changes only on instruction from registered phone No AND SUBSCRIBER. and make note of it. Secondly they activated Ten Cricket from same unknown phone no which did not belong to us.When I told them to terminate them the pack was changed but said ten cricket can only be change after 3 months only as per rules . I explained to him rules apply only when weask for it when I have not asked for it the rule is not applicable it is only crrecting a mistake but he willnot agree & remain adament. I had taken ten cricket and had to wait for 3 months when I could teminate it I have been having exellent service for more than couple of years it is only customer services which require technical excellence

mera name kuldeep panday(I.D No.[protected]. mai apka d2h connection 2 sal se chala raha hu . lekin 2- 4 mahin pahle mera setop box kharab hua to mai ne complent kiya to apka engineer vijay mere ghar akar ke badtmizi se bat kiya. usake bad mai ne recharge karana band kar dia. dubara apke engineer ( mishra & koi superviser) ne kaha ki ap sal bhar ke liay recharge kra lijia mai apaka settop box & remort change kar dunga . lekin abhi tak koi engineer nahi aya. mera settop box abhi bhi kharab hai.
