[Resolved]  Videocon / Electrolux Microwave Oven — No demo given even after 30 days of purchase

I have purchased Electrolux microwave oven (Model EF28CBGK) from DIGIWORLD, Hanamkonda on[protected] Receipt No. 1326, Rs. 10750=00). The dealer said that demo will be given next day. After waiting for 3 days I contacted DIGIWORLD. Then a person by name "Mustafa' came and told that he does not know about this latest model. He told that his senior will come. To our surprise no one came later.
I called many times the dealer as well as the service center staff by name Sri Chakrapani and Sri Murthy.
Both o0f them told that one Mr George Reddy will come and give the demo.

Even by today he did not turn up. We could not use it so far. The purpose of its purchase could not be materialized. I even gave a call to toll free service number "[protected]" 3 weeks back. But nothing worked out. Now I feel that I did a big mistake by purchasing oven from Videoconr company. I am the first user of Videocon TV and Fridge in my campus in 1980s.

If the after purchase service is like this, how to believe in the service claims "customer first" made by this company. I wonder how such a poor service staff are selected by a reputed company like yours. I hoped that the demo giving person will visit my home without the headache of repeatedly calling the dealer as well as the above local service staff.

Today I had to go personally to the dealer to ask for the demo after 30 days of purchase. I have never seen this kind of poor response by any company to a customer. I told the dealer to take back the oven as he could not even arrange a demo. He spoke to the service center incharge. The incharge asked me to go to the service center to speak personally. He also asked me to get demo there and then asked me give demo personally to my wife in my house. This is a ridiculous proposition and a definitelty a careless attitude by your service centre. What could be your reaction, had yuou been in my position.

This is definitely a case of pure lack of courtesy and gross negligence in consumer service.

microwaveoven — no call or visit even after 30 hours

Dear sir,
I am a regular user of LG like AC, FRIDGE AND MICROWAVEOVEN but on 20.10.2009 i noticed some problem in microwaveoven. I lodged a complain about at your call centre and got the complain ID no.C09A2123045.The call centre people assured me that the technician will contact you and take your time for repairing.But there was no call from your local service centre, I have made repeated call to the local service centre at jabalpur tel no.[protected] and the same reply they are giving from 10.00 AM in the morning of 21.10.2009 till 6 pm ( technician has left the centre for your complain).At 2 pm I call the local centre already mentioned to give me a time so that I can stay at my home to receive the technician but the said madam replied in a different manner that she cannot give me a time . I have taken a leave today to get the oven repaired.Again I call the local no.[protected] and requested him to give a time but he expressed his inability.I have decided to publish the matter in local news paper to bring the matter to the knowledge of the LG officials.

Iam running cement industry. We want to gift some videocon products regarding this i have made payment of 2 lacs in favour of SS Enterprises Lucknow on 9/02/2010.as suggest your employee Mr. Siddharth Agarwal and Nikunj Shrivastava. Now they are not picking up my phone from last 7 days. I have dout on them,please return my amount or i should go to consumer forum against Videocon and both of your employees of Lucknow.I am also forwarding you some important documents as an attachment.kindly call me or mail me immediately.I also went toyour Lucknow office(75,Tez Plaza,Hazratganj) but they are not facing me and not agree to come in front of me.
