[Resolved]  Virgin Mobile — Poor customer Service

I bought virgin connection with offer for free GIFT (not offer) with connection. there is no mention of any payments to be made to avail the GIFT. on scratching the card, I realised that I have won a holiday offer and then realised that they want me to pay Rs 1000 for the same. CROMA (owned by Tata) sales people said that they have nothing to do with Virgin although backend services are provided by Tata Tele.

I have called Virgin mobile and spoken with Jins, Anirban, John (supervisor) many times. John is perenially busy in meetings and has no time to talk to customers. Always the reply was they have forwarded message to superior and some one will call back.

It is 4 months now and still I am waiting for the elusive call from supervisor or even the customer service people.

The process to reach a customer service representative is so long that I have given up calling again.

MOREOVER, they send so much junk SMS and despite registering 3 times for DO NOT DISTURB service (it shows on their system that I am registered), they have not stopped sending marketing SMS to me. They have said that it will take 45 days to stop SMS sending and I wonder why?? It took jsut 10 minutes to get the conenction and to stop a service 45 Minutes!!!

I am just waiting for the phone to get lost and get a new connection with some other service provider.

Virgin Mobile — services stopped

hello sir,

im a customer of virgin mobile from bangalore..with number [protected]...all services in the cell are stopped since yesterday...plz help
My no. is [protected] $ my sim no.[protected], when i insert the sim in mobile, it show invalid sim, im also try with another mobile response is same so please activate my sim as soon as possible my another mob. no. is [protected] for any enquiry.

NO VIRGIN MOBILE PHONES ARE WORKING I HAVE UNLIMITED TEXTING FOR 20 DOLLARS A MONTH AND I AM NOT GETTING OR RECIEVING TEXT MESSAGES THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR THE PAST 2 DAYS IT IS COMPLETE BS AND THERE COMPANY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT FAST!

Hi Iam fedup with your connection..
Two connections i hold : [protected] , [protected] pls credit amount to my mobile to me......

The virgin connection which i took is vast,which i have never seen in any network. Though i use vodafone and airtel too.
Everytime i need to roam like anything for doing a recharge.I have entered into more than 15 shops,but no dealer
has your card.

The poor poor connection,I have bought 2 CDMA connections on Virgin. Though for the main reason i get incoming credits,
it was applied for the first months. But dealer and from the customer care no one has intimated,
Without knowingly from the customer end the offer was closed.

When i called to the customer care,they have informed me that the offer was close. How come without the knowledge of the
customer you people close the offer??????

Though i got the Nodal officer number,it's utter waste no one is picking up.Everytime busy no response from their side too.


Sure, If this is not done i dont mind escalating it severely.

1.you credit some amount to my mobile

2.Please have the offer once again to me.

If this is not done i will be escalating in the higher levels,that i have contacted the customer care and also the nodal
officer too,but no response.

Nodal offier wthether they work or not??when the customer has an issues they call they are not even picking up the phone??

I dont think so no one will stay in your network,if the customers are not benefited.

For what reason i got the complaint number from the nodal: VBL07117281 WHAT TO DO WITH THIS????Under which way iam benefited from yourside please try to answer and resolve my complaint.
else i will be escalating till head office.


What for [protected] ?? such a stupid connection which i have never seen and iam using it. In vodafone which ever the amount i recharge i used to get a 1 % of the talktime....


Hereafter i am going to tell my relations and street people that connection is very poor poor not to use your connection/product,so we all throw your connection out.
if not waivering the amount.
