[Resolved] Vodafone — billing related | |||
Hi,With reference to request number [protected], I was promised by the Vodafone store , JB nagar Andheri east ,that the 3G data plan for Rs 650 will be provided free for two months. But I was surprised to see I getting charged for it in my bill.Customer care arranged a call back for me from the store but even after 72 hrs, I am yet to get a call back from them.I am really under stress since I have been following up on this for the last one month. I am planning to go to consumer court for this and also highlight this on social networking sites about the pathetic and customer insensitive service from Vodafone.I am also doing a number portability and would advice my family and friends to do the same and also highlight this on the web.My cell number is [protected]. We had paid the Jan 10, bill via Netbanking on 25/01/10, However Vodafone continues to charge us delayed fee of Rs. 100/- For the same. Our a/c was debitted on the same day.
Numerous calls made to them but still await a resolution.
Kindly assist.

I was a Vodafone pre-paid customer for about less than three months. On March 16, I received a message saying "Your Services would be barred as Usage of Rs. 2967/- (approx) has crossed Cr Limit. To restore,pl make pmt. Call 111 for details on how to pay" And soon enough, my service got disconnected for the same reason. I was really unhappy with teh service that I stopped using the service at all. However, in the month end, they informed me that I have used about RS 5500.
In my understanding, the umbilled amount is the amound which I have used and they have not considered the discounts for it. That means, usually, when the y apply the discounted calls and generate the bill, it will be a lesser amount than the unbilled amount.
In either case, I am sure I have not used the service for Rs 5500.
I sent the company many mails asking for the details and they gave me a bill which I cannot evaluate as usually, for datausage, we, customers won't have exact records with us.
Now that they way they will move leagally, I am not ready to pay any amount more that RS2967. I would like some advice on the same.

Apart from that, I forgot to mention, I received many calls from different numbers threatening me for refusing to pay the amount they billed.
Also, before all these happend, i went to Vodafone office two or three times to request them for terminating my service or changing it to prepaid plan. However, i refused to do that as they said they cannot do it from their end then. They wanted me to got to their centre on a ay they specify and request for disconnection. However, I was not in a position to reach their office on that particular day of the month.

I would like to complain against the vodafone services regarding payments. I took a new connection with mobile no. 97115471XX in september month. When the bill came to me, there was a payment of Rs. 824/- which was supposed to paid till Oct'16, 2008 and I have paid Rs. 830/- to the one of its relationship centre "Innova Communication" on Oct'01, 2008. After one week, I got call that, I have paid Rs. 330/- only and the remaining amount is due. I got this with the time interval of every 2 days while every time, I provided details to them. I called to executives of "Innova communications" and "Vodafone - 111" but no one has respond appropriately. I was getting harrashed every time by the vodafone executive and my calls have been restricted. Now, again i call to manager of vodafone and stated all the things, he asked me to fax the receipt and i did the same. He suggested me to wait for next 2 hrs and I waited for 28 hrs and still no response.
I would like to ask why the customer face such problems with no reason. It is fault of Vodafone billing department and I suffered for this. Now, I have my mobile box with no use. There was a concall on the time and I will have to go to the STD to attend this.
It was too much harrashed and disappointed me and specifies that there are no rules or regulations for such company.
Hope for justice...
