[Resolved] Vodafone — Overbilling | |
I had a VODAFONE connection - number [protected]. During my trip abraod to Turkey - I was charged an internet usage charge of Rs 17K - stating that there was more than an hour's usage of internet from the mobile handset - whihc is very unlikely. Moreover the company had set a credit limit of Rs 3000 - then how did the over billing happen - till date there is no explanation to the same. On receipt fo the bill, i disputed the amount and paid the remaining amount under protest. I was informed that necessary checking would be done - thereafter i was informed that the charges appear correct - i disputed the same and told the company that I shall pay the bill amount over and above the Rs 17 - overcharge. Without any intimation to me, the mobile number was disconnected and till date there is no proper response from the company on this issue The approach is very unprofessional and for system lapses at thier end - they are penalizing cusotmers and disconnecting number - the number was in use for a long time and the abrupt disconnection has resulted in lot of difficulty and even financial loss. vodafone bills — charging international rates for local sms
I have been charged at the rate of Rs5/ per sms .. which is an international sms rate for the local number .. and after repeated wriiten complaints to Vodaphone nothing has been done ... the only plea they give is that since I have used "00" for local number thats why charges have been made ...But is that logical ..
WHILE MAKING PAYMENT OF VODAFONE BILL NO.[protected] DATED 15-09-08 FOR MOBILE NO.[protected] A DEDUCTION OF RS.95.77 HAD BEEN ALLOWED TO ME IN RESPONSE TO MY OBSERVATION ON ACTIVATION PERIOD OF BLACKBERRY ON MY MOBILE.. I AM REGULLARLY MAKING PAYMENT OF ACTUAL EXPENSES OF BY BILLS. BUT THE DIFFERENCE OF RS. 95.77 IS STILL PENDING FOR ADJUSTMENT AT YOUR END. PLEASE ADJUST THE DIFFERENCE OF RS.95.77 ENABLING ME TO MAKE ACTUAL BILL PAYMENT EVERY TIME WITHOUT RECALLING THE DIFFERENCE.

My complain is regarding over billing of my Vodafone No.[protected].I have been send the bill of Rs.1841.92/-which includes RS 1166.24/- for Data where as I never used this No. for Data connection. No call is going to Customer Care.I should provided with full detail of bill then only I am going to pay the boll.My average bill for the earlier periods was Rs.400/- to Rs.600/-.This bill has been wrongly generated.I hope Vodafone Customer care deptt.will look this matter on urgent basis, .

this is a total voilation of TRAI rules and regulations. i therefore would request you to intervene and save many customers like me from this harassment.
