Vodafone — False offer sent through SMS | |
Hi, I received an offer from Vodafone on 6th Apr 09 to make bill payment before 12th Apr and get SMS worth 50 free. I made the payment on 10th the bill received for APR 09 did not reflect the necessary credit of SMS'es. I enquired with an Customer care Executive who said it would reflect in the month of May 09 billing cycle. Again in May 09 billing cycle i found no Discounts enquired again this time first the Executive tried to turn tables and said terms and conditions apply to the offer.. This is no were mentioned in the SMS which I have saved in my cell. Finally when i read out the offer she appologised and said she is lodging a complaint. I wanted the complaint in an email which she refused but said she will send the complaint number via an SMS. I waited for 24 hrs and on not receiving it spoke to a supervisor named "Pratik" on 5th June 09 around 10 PM. He was also beating around the bush by talking about other offers sent to me on other dates while i was very clear with the date, time and the offer. Finally he also said conditions apply which is no where mentioned in the version of SMS sent to me. Finally frustrated i decided to take this issue ahead to which he challenged that his company can prove me wrong incase a complaint was filed against Vodafone.
