[Resolved] Vodafone — Setting Caller Tune without my allowance | |
Today afternoon I received a call from Vodafone caller tune service. At the start it said "This call is in response to your request for setting a caller tune" or something like this. Then I heard the song "Woh paheli baar" being played. Suddenly the song stopped & I as said, "Thank you for selecting the song. Your caller tune will be set within 24 hours". Though I did not do anything to set any caller tune. Then I got few messages saying that I have set "Bhojogourango" as my caller tune. Something like this has happend to me earlier as well. Then the customer care executive heard me properly, she also refunded 45/-. Perhaps she knew that 45/- is a quite lot of money to waste at Vodafone's whims. But this time, few hours later when I called the Customer Care I was said that I myself have set the tune. Which is not true at all. I was horrified when I heard the customer care executive accusing me of lying indirectly. I would be pleased if some higher authorities intrude in the matter and try to resolve my queries about why: i) Why in such way caller tune will be said without my wish or knowledge? ii) How come I will not get the refund as ti was not my fault? iii) Hoe can the customer care executive say money ca not be refunded in these cases although I was refunded earlier?
