Vodafone — unaccounted for charges...... | |
i am a subscriber with vodafone since 2000 when it was essar then hutch and now vodafone. i'v witnessed and borne its rapid downhill service and utterly incompetent, rude and non-redressal customer care. HERE GOES MY LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG LIST O[censored]NATTENDED TO WOES : 1 first for months some of my national smses were billed as international. this went on unchecked for months/a year despite a reminder each month when i would get my bill . 2 then for months they could not deactivate a particular caller tune i had chosen for a few special nos. after a herculean effort i managed to achive that. 3 and now for over a 1 1/2 yrs i'm being charged practically every month rs.80 and rs.100 for late fees. for the former customer care and the local vodafone shop branch manager could not decide what they were for, one said for shuffle tune and the other that they were for downloading. oddly enough and to the customer's utter inconvenience the bill had a code against this charge and was obviously latin and greek for the customer. i had not even made any request for activation of GPRS... i believe they do it by default...CAN I ASK WHY ??????? and why the late fees charge when i have 99% of the times paid my bill in time over a period of over 8 yrs. interestingly the branch manager of the vodafone shop waived these late fees charges as much as she could in may '08 but they were reverted in my bill for the next month. 4 during all this period i have faced utterly RUDE, INCOMPETENT & INEFFECTIVE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE. i state on record that i'v never activated the shuffle caller tune, i just have one tune for which i'm paying rs. 30 pm. and i would like to ask vodafone... dont they have a record of what caller tunes i'v subscribed to ?????? as far as downloading is concerned again i put it on record i'v NEVER downloaded anything EVER and i'm a single user of this no. and handset. moreover did i ever send a request for activating GPRS ?????? 5 today as things stand my outgoing has been barred so many times that now i'v even lost count. as of today outgoing has been barred for the last one month... 6 people reading this decide for your self before taking a vodafone connection. 7 not only have i been harassed, inconvenienced but also subjected to rude behaviour... one customer care lady told me to hurry up with my 'story' coz she had to go for lunch. another told me... as if i was a begger that all vodafone could do was waive some late fee charges... 8 this is a principled stand i'v taken, i teach in a college and what i'm dealing with most in my class are human values and a principled life. vodafone can test my patience to the maximum !!! 9 lastly i may add that i'v written to their nodal office upteen times, visited their shop numerous times and have no account of how many times i'v called customer care. My Mobile No[protected] is usualy in Plan of 0.50 paise per minute for STD & Local but without any informetion company is deducting 0.60 paise per minute fo local & STD Please look in the matter and do the needfull.Reply on my email address [protected]@yahoo.com
