[Resolved]  Vodafone — Cheated - Deducted prepaid balance

I am using a 2g prepaid service with Vodafone ([protected]), which is Rs.125/- for 1 GB. This had expired on 6th August, without any alerts (usually they send an sms). To my surprise within an hour or so Vodaphone has deducted Rs. 67 or some thing for the data services. I did call up their service center, but without any help. My concerns are as follows :- 1). Why was there no reminders send for service expiry ? 2). What is the breakup of the charges (within an hour and I did not use any internet) in terms of data services deducted from my balance ? This is a clear case of denial or service to extract balance on the phone.

Also, Dialing #111* also does not allow me to see the last 3 call charges. Also, any resentment in the form of sending "NO" sms on the reply to the service satisfaction is not going with the message as sms not sent, even after 10 resend. This is nothing but a cheat and eyewash from Vodafone.

Vodafone — I was cheated by an sms from vodafone

My name is Mubin Mohamed...I am a vodafone post-paid user...My number is [protected]...On 15-12-08, i got an sms titled "Urgent"...i opened the sms n read it...It sed tht i have been chosen for a $5000 prize guarenteed n to claim that prize i had to call this number"[protected]"...I was curious n i did wht it said...When i called up tht number, a recorded voice message greeted me(Just like ur customer care services) n asked my number and verified it and it proclaimed me winner for their winter season prize and asked a bunch of questions...Everything was so promising untill it reached the end...They said that i have to confirm my win and to do so i had send my name along with my address and game code...And when it reached the part were they told me the game code it went like this..."Here is ur game code...""Once again ur game code is...""Here is ur game code one last time..." They never gave me the game code...This intrigued me so i called them 3 times to get the code and my brother also looked it up...But it was the same result...After a couple of days i checked my bill for this month and found out that they have charged me for each and every call i made...

I was frauded by one o[censored]r Services which had no effect in this zone which i use and i hope that u dont expect me to pay for it!!!

Vodafone — Cheated by vodafone !!!!

Well I was really very happy with the vodafone services, but today when for some reason I wanted to convert my postpaid account to prepaid the attendant at the gallery gave me a tough time, she almost took 1 hour to complete the procedures, she was just so reluctant to convert my card...

After every thing was done, she says that I will have to recharge my card of a minimum amount of Rs.100...whereas the person at the customer care told that I just need to pay Rs.29 for a new prepaid Sim card...I still agreed for it, then she says later that I have to pay Rs.100 + Rs29 for a new Sim card...I simply lost it...but she went on to explain that it is the procedure and blah blah...and then she said that the benefit is I will get a talk-time of Rs.50 instead of the regular Rs.5 which is given on Rs.99 recharge...so I said ok I just need to get rid of the card soon and agreed for all the exorbitant prices she was asking for...

And now when my postpaid account is blocked and I put in the new Sim card and recharged my card with the 99 top up that she gave me, I just got Rs.10, what a waste...I simply feel so cheated...

Vodafone — dedected

sir .., i have been telling them to deactivate the voice chat since from two months.. the customer care executive tells me that type CAN_VC and send it 144 but when i do the same, i receive the message from 144 is wrong key words and after that the customer care executives din,t respond .,now the customer care number will come busy when ever you call them. Please help.

Vodafone — Complaint (cheated)

I purchased 2 pre-paid Sim cards on[protected], from Vodafone store at jayanager, and was misguided about the plan and the customer service representative told that the plan is Rs.699 unlimited calling and both the Sim card were activated when I gave my documents and 1-photograph. But after 1-week of the card, the card was disconnected and barred for all outgoing calls and the other card after 2 weeks without any notification and I have called the customer service of Vodafone several time and they don’t respond properly and the hung up me and put me on hold for 45 to 50 minutes for 15 to 20 times. Once I demand to speak with the manager or the supervisor they denied to transfer and told he is busy on other call and yet put on hold for long time and hung up on me again. They simply cut the call without any courtesy I’m very hurt because I purchased these connections thinking it will help for my business purpose but I’m cheated. They had promised to call back for 5-6 times and they never called back. I want my Money back I have spent Rs-1400.00 and got nothing and wasted my time 5-6 days. Please help me with this matter to get my money back.

Vodafone — Charges deducted

Dear Sir/Madam.

Despite of repeated reminders and calls to customer care Vodafone is still not able to solve my problem.

They are cheating with unnecessary activations their value added services to me as per trailed mails given below, and not even responding to any query.

Being an DND activated customer they are still disturbing by making promotional calls and messages.

I have all proofs regarding harassing customers even after DND activation, and I am fed up with rejecting promotional calls on daily basis and confirming deactivation o[censored]nnecessary .

I request you to kindly look into the matter and solve the problem ASAP.

No my concerns are not addressed and no one from Vodafone has called me. Please ensure that you reinstate the Rs. 67/- which was wrongly deducted, the details of which I do not have. Also, why was no SMS (as always) not send to state the end of monthly 2g service.
