[Resolved] Vodafone — Committed Service not Started | |||
I had purchased Vodafone 3G Datacard from Authorised Vodafone Sales Executive on 22nd March 2011. While taking the 3G Datacard i was given option of 3.1 Mbps and 7.2 Mbps Data Speed for which I opted for 7.2 Mbps Datacard by paying higher price. And was offered Dataplan of Rs. 599 per month commitment for unlimited data usage (10gb fair usage policy). During activation i was told that we have not yet started 3G services for datacard and it will take 2-3 month to start the 3G services in Mumbai Circle. Till that you can use the 2G or Edge Services. I used to pay the monthly rental and use the services after 3 months I contacted the Vodafone Customer Care they said we still cant activate it on Datacard as soon as 3G services start in Mumbai Circle it will be activated on your Datacard. After repeated calls for 10 Month I stopped Paying the Monthly Rental from April 2012. Now they are calling us and harassing us saying we will proceed with Legal Proceedings and you need to pay the Rent from March till July even though your Datacard is Disconnected you need to pay the Monthly rentals. Now They call up and tell us the you pay the Due amount and we will start the 3G services and you need to pay the rentals as per new offers and the offer that was provided during March 2011 is not valid now as it was not activated on your mobile during that offer period. This shows Vodafone just cheated with us and must have cheated with thousand others in City by giving false commitments. We request for strict action against this Company so that many others might be saved from this cheating Company.
