Vodafone Corporate Postpaid Fraud — Billing does not stop after deactivation | |||
The problem in a nutshell is that even after paying the "final" bill including all outstanding bills and deactivating the connection, I am still being billed. I used to live in mumbai and have moved out of mumbai in Sep 2010. The cancellation request was raised in September and the final bill was paid in October. I have been sending mails everytime I get a bill in my mailbox and so far I haven't received a single reply from anyone. Now the situation has reached the point where my landlord of where I used to stay in mumbai is getting extremely rude calls from the collections department. From what my landlord has told me a person by name Rupali is calling them everyday and is using inappropriate language towards them, including threatening to bring in thugs to beat them up. To make matters worst this Rupali is refusing to accept my current contact number from my landlord so that I can be reached. I am deeply hurt by this chain of events and being a long time customer of vodafone(right from the day vodafone started its operations in india), I must say that I am extremely disappointed at vodafone and its services. On calling the customer care yesterday, again, I was asked to re-send all the mails I had sent before. I forwarded them and I called them again today. The representative who attended the call told me that it takes 72hrs for their system to refresh so that my mails can be seen by them. Now, what kind of an email service is that?
