[Resolved]  Vodafone — CHANGE OF NAME TAKE MORE THEN 3 MONTHS BUT STILL PENDING

I the vodafone customer holding [protected], had asked for the name change from my name to my wifes name, in the month of march 2009, i went to shop on 10th March and submit the relevent documents, i was assisted by Mr. JAVED at Vodafone shop at peninsula corporate park at lower parel, where company has its head office. Mr. Javed ask me to make the payment by cash if the changes has to take place on current date, and if payed by cheque, you need to visit the shop once the cheque is cleared and then only they can accept the forms, so i made the payments by cash and submitted the documents, , he confirmed me back saying the next bill shall be raised in my wifes name, but to my surpise i get the bill in my name, i call up help line no, they do not know about it, person taking the call do not have relevent replies, so he ask me to visit to the shop where i had submitted the documents, then i ask him to transfer the call to his senior, the senior comming on line says, that i shall receive the call in next two hours from vodafone for the same issue, but i do not get the call, so icall back after 3 hours back to helpline and helpline gives me nodal officer mr. sujit suvarna no, 66645000 and extn: 5032, but here the call is been taken by some other person saying i am from sujit suvarna's department, he says looking after the case to wait for 2 hours, javed from store shall get back to you, Mr. Javed is really a busy man handling all the loads of vodafone shop at lower parel, peninsula corporate park, he do not have time to call up the same day, he calls back next day that to after me calling the nodal officers nos after 3 times a day and says he shall get back in next 2 hours. i wein i call back 3rd day again to nodal officers no, the nodal officer desk says to hold the line and javed comes on line and tells that i have checked the case and the changes shall takes place and then only make the payment, till then not to make the payments, i wait for the reply i do not get any calls from vodafone and after the due date, i start getting the recording, to make the payment, in anger i make the payment at vodafone shop again by cash and, but i lost it completely in may when i get the bill, here again i see the bill in my name, but when i call up the helpline, they have no anweres to your query, but to tell you that visit the vodafone shop where you had submitted the documents, they give the nodal officers contact no, 66645000 but do not give the extn no, when u call up at the no, you get a recording to hold the call to get the opreator on line, but there is no opreator, i call back the helpline no again and ask them to call no 66645000 and get connected to the nodal officers department and show, they say its not been picked up by any one, against requesting, to transfer the call to her seniors, they ask me my date of birth and address, i confirm them both, she ask me the alternative no, when i ask her why she wants my other nos, she says that on systems she cant see my date of birth details, i am surpried, but then she puts me on hold and then give the extension no, here on calling 66645000, i get one person as makbul, he says that to hold the call he shall transfer the call to vodafone shop to mr. javed, mr. javed is again busy, he comes on line and tells that i shall get back to you in 10 mins as he is with some customer, but he calls back after 30 mins and tell me that, the request is already been submited to his senior and the senior is on lunch break at 4.15 pm but you shall get the call back from her, i wait for an hour or so, i call back nodal officer no, here mr. makbul ask me to hold he will transfer the call to mr. javed, i am on hold for about 4. mins and he tell me that i shall transfer the call to the shop manager ms. priya mhatre, who tell me that i shall look into the matter and give me her direct no [protected]. and tells that before she leaves her office today she shall get back to me,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SPECIFY THE ACTUAL MEANING OF VODAFONE ( HAPPY TO HELP U ) what they say, always mean, this question is to all the vodafone employees, please either call me or tell by mail the exact meaning,

I want to know the excat meaning of HAPPY TO HELP YOU, what they say even from top officials of VODAFONE.. HOW DO YOU PEOPLE FUNCTION, SOME DAY YOU MIGHT GET WASHED OUT OF THE INDUSTRY...

Please stop saying "Happy to help".

My Number is [protected] I am being harassed by these Vodafone people. My one cell number [protected] was lost on 8th May 2009, because of this I had requested them to block this number ([protected]), they blocked my ([protected]) number. I had a tough time making them understand that I needed to block the number that I had lost . After calling up from a PCO many times and finally after being rude to them they understood which number I need to get blocked. Then I was told that I would get a sim card with the same number within 24 hours, well I got that card on 11th May 2009 but it was o[censored]se as it did not work. Finally I had to collect a different sim card from a Vodafone gallery which I did on the 13th . The moment this sim was activated with my number [protected] they disabled my number which was working till now ([protected]). Now after talking to the customer care people they keep telling me all stories, one of them said there must be no network at your place, when I was calling from my Vodafone number only this is the type of lame excuse these people give if one phone with the same network is working fine how come another phone not work due to bad network. These people are deliberately harassing me. I need my phone to work properly right away or I am thinking of switching over to another service soon for lack of good service.

You people are not at all happy to help so please stop saying "happy to help"

I called up on the Nodal officers Number and spoke to Preeti instead of getting Mr. Suvarna on line, after requesting her to activate my number she said i will need to give a written instruction to deactivate it on the other sim, I dont understand if they can deactivate my number without my instruction why cant they do it now when i am asking them to. these people are just not willing to help. To make things easy for them i asked her to activate 91 number on my cell and i will exchange the sim with my wifes sim so that both numbers are working, she just refused to do that, i dont know why they say happy to help when they are not at all happy or willing to help.
Like asked by Preeti I went to the gallery, spoke to Fatima & Ali, both were of no help. i am still with no cell connection. they would not take any action to resolve my problem but are just trying to push me off. Now my BP is rising and any health problems i have should all be because of Vodafone people. they are mentally harrasing me and even the Nodal officer is not taking any action on this.
I have applied for Transfer of Ownership (TO) for my Vodafone no. [protected] on dated 24/07/2009. I have paid 250/- as transfer fee for change of ownership from my name to my wife’s name

I have applied it at your Vodafone store, Sector 35-C, Chandigarh through Ms. Bharti. She asked that it will be done in 2 days but today 10 days has already gone but till date no verification has been done I have already visited your Vodafone store 3 times One thing more I want to share with you that Ms. Bharti had swiped my credit card for Rs. 250/- on dated 24/07/2009 but she has not updated my payment in system on the same day. She forgets to do the same. The service level of Sector 35 officials is very poor.

Now by this blog, I would like to request all of you that never go for a vodafone connection in your life. Even if you write a mail to them, even then you'll not get reply from them.

As I am also one of the victim of this Vodafone. service they always say s happy to Help you is this the help actually my vodafaone is not working in the roaming I dont know what s happen its sim card it saying limited service. When I called a customer care guy he said plz talk to your circle... what is this Happy to Help is this your slogan just change this to Harassing if you take vodafone connection... well how ever I was tried to call my circle call centre but what a wonder as many time s I trying to connect them though it was disconnecting after 2 seconds that means i am paying money for nothing and I have just spend almost 15 Rs by this way but nothing worked out

well is there any one who can understand this Vodafone guys s are just bluff that
