[Resolved]  Vodafone — Vodafone cheating us through giving caller tune forcefully

I'm using vodafone for last 4 yrs in Kolkata. My mobile was switched-off from yesterday (19/03/2011) evening about 8 PM. Today evening (20/03/2011) while I switched on my mobile at 5:30 PM (17:30) I got 2 SMS from VODAFONE -

FISRT SMS sent: 20/03/2011 15:35:48 - "Hello!
Your request for caller tune activation has been received and will be processed within 4 hours. We will let you know the status by SMS shortly"

SECOND SMS - sent: 20/03/2011 15:37:34 - "Hello, Caller Tune is activated on your phone. Monthly charge Rs. 30 or Re 1/day. ............

How can it be possible? VODAFONE called in my mobile no. which was switched-off at that time and got my confirmation though my mobile is switched off.

VODAVONE IS CHEATING US IN THIS PROCEDURE. Rs. 30 has been deducted from my mobile balance as well.

Is this kind of service we're expecting from vodafone? Is vodafone is playing game like this?? So Is this the kind of company vodafone is? Cheating with the people by giving callertune forcefully without informing and deduct amount automatically.

Vodafone customer care is giving a non-sense service. They never solved any critical case. They'll say to call them after 12 hrs or they'll say that they'll contact you but never call you back.

Why we'll be the ultimate victim? One more thing this is not the first time this is occurring. I've faced problem earlier also. At that time vodafone theft Rs. 100 from me.

So, I want to say all the people who want to take advantage of mobile no. portability and want to shift to VODAFONE MOBILE CONNECTION, don't take this type of mobile connection which can deduct your rupees without any reason even if your mobile is switched-off and avoid this type of harassments.

vodafone/mobile service — Vodafone cheating us thru giving caller tune forcefully

I'm using vodafone connection for last 4 yrs in Kolkata.
On 07/06/2010 11:30 AM I've got call for activated caller tune thrice.
All the times i've ended the call with end button.
At night I've got message - "As per your request caller tune has been activated on your mobile no.
Rs. 90 Will be charged for 3 months rental" and Rupees has been deducted from my balance.
How can it be possible? However, while I'm calling customer care they're saying
that we can't give you price back and It is good to hear caller tune.
Perhaps you've activated it.

So Is this the kind of company vodafone is?
Cheating with people by giving callertune forcefully without infoming
and deduct rupees automatically.
Is this the kind of service we're paying for? Everytime cutomercare will say anything and we'will
be the ultimate victim. One more thing this the not first time this is occuring. I've faced problem
earlier also vodafone has theft Rs. 150 from me.

After 2 days continuous struggle I've got refund my money.
This type of Harassment not expected. Customer care is really nonsense
