[Resolved] Vodafone — lost card | |||
I had lost my postpaid sim card while traveling from kalyan to thane. I called the customer care to report of loss and asked him to terminate the service as I don't want to continue their service. He said he will suspend the sim but it cannot be terminated without returning of sim card (which has stuck to a tyre of a car due to mud in the monsoon period). He said he will dispatch a new sim card to me at the registered address. But I am not working at that Address and I am not even in the same city where I had taken the card. I told him that I will come to Vodafone store to collect and terminate the card, but he said that cannot be done. Now they are sending me bills saying that they will take legal action for non-payment while I had cleared all my dues till the month in which my card was lost. I don't understand that when nobody has received the sim card or activated it, why monthly rental is being charged? Regards, A.B.Balgi Was this information helpful? | |||
