[Resolved] Vodafone — Malicious Business Practices of Vodafone
I sent the following mail to 'nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com' I received an SMS today that informed me that some “Big Fat Free Store” service had been activated on my Vodafone connection and I was being billed INR 35 per week. Worst of all, it is a service that is renewed automatically. I failed to understand how this service was activated on my connection. When I called Vodafone customer care to check if it was some kind of spam SMS, one Mr. Shreesha attended my call (call reference number:[protected]. I was utterly disappointed by the way Mr. Shreesha handled my call. He was outright rude and treated me as if I was a criminal for having activated the service myself and now complaining about it. His mannerisms were stinking of a very malicious business practice being followed by your company. Curiously, I was informed that “by mistake” I would have clicked on some ad on my touch screen phone. This is clearly a case of connivance of your organization with third-party vendors to loot your customers. I raise a serious objection to such conduct on your part. I also hereby wish to inform you that if the mentioned amount of INR 70 appears in my next bill, I would not be able to pay that bill. Hence, please ensure that this is not included in the next bill such that I am able to make timely payment of the bill. Was this information helpful?
