[Resolved]  Vodafone - Mumbai — Excess charges/unprofessional behaviour

Dear Sir/Madam,

My mobile number is [protected]. In the month of May i have been billed Rs.6314 for GPRS usage while i was in Europe. On earlier occasions when i was in Europe i have never been billed so much. When i asked the call center for details of my GPRS usage and why i have been billed so much, the answer i get is 'Sir, we do not have any details. You will have to pay for this'.

Instead of solving my problem and giving me details, Vodafone has blocked my calls. When i called the helpline, their supervisor (Ms.Vasanti) kept me on-hold for almost 25 minutes as she wanted to check the details with their backend. Since i did not get any response i hung up the phone. Its been more than an hour and noone from Vodafone has bothered to call me back and resolve my queries.

During my conversations with the call center executives it has been told to me that i can disconnect the service if i wish! In this world of cut-throat competition, Vodafone is more than happy to let go off a customer!! What is more surprising is that Vodafone spends crores of Rupees to promote a service called 'Happy to Help'!

I would like to file a consumer case against Vodafone for such an unprofessional behaviour and causing mental harassment to me. Kindly advise me on how to take this forward.

Vodafone - Mumbai — Unprofessionalism from Vodafone

Hi My name is Nirmal choudhary ( Mumabi ).

I am using Vodafone no. [protected] since last 5 Yrs, When It was Orange, Hutch and now Vodafone. First time I am facing problem with Vodafone.

Last friday on 5th March, 09. They Vodafone deducted around Rs 40 from my accound and activated caller tune without intimating me. I realized that only after 2 days i.e. on 7th March 09, when I checked my balance.

I complined to vodafone customer care immediately and they ansured me they will reimburesed my Rs 40 to my vodafone account and deactivate the service ( caller tune ) but still I am waiting for some positive action from their side.

It shows unprofessionalism from Vodafone .
