[Resolved]  Vodafone — Rs 35 sms fraud

Address:Bangalore, Karnataka

Vodafone is running with a new fraud recharge on their website.
It is with an sms rechage of 35 rs in karnataka region.
As per recharge customer shud get 150 sms for 28 days. But that actually is not true. My money is still deducted for every sms.
Upon calling cust care, they said we dnt hv such offer and my calling rates are now changed to 1.2 paisa per sec. What a bull.
Not sure how many people are looted every day like dis.

I also received a fraud sms alert from Vodafone, saying I have won a lottery o[censored]S$480, 000 from World Aid Outreach. The person concerned is Mr. Doust John Michael from 40 Victoria, Herefordshire Al13TG, United Kingdom. He also gave his phone number [protected]. I have been communicating with him through email for the past 5 days. He asked me to pay US$240 as a processing fee to release the winning amount. After almost 5 days of communication when I searched the internet, then only I realised that he is a fraud.

Cannot you stop all these non sense.
i already spoke to your cust care execective. Here is the complaint # [protected].
But my only concern is why you have such options on ur websites if they are not valid. And on top of it, if it is not valid, then why there is a money deduction?
I had a call cutter plan of 35 paisa for std calls nd i was told upon recharging of 35, my plan is now changed to 1.2 paisa per sec calls. This is really rediculous.
Ur representative said it was an old offer, if thats the case then why i was able to recharge? I shud hv got some error.

I was told that this will be adressed in 48 hrs. But my concern is, was it my mistake?
I wd hv not pasted this on. consumer forum if it wd hv been addressed immideately..
