[Resolved] Vodafone — wrongly charged for GPRS | |||
Dear Sir/madam, Name: VIshal Patel Mob:[protected] complaint against: Vodafone Gujarat Circle In the month of junary 2012 I received my Vodafone bill (no;[protected]) for December month & I found that rupees 724 was charged to me for GPRS during the switch over period of 2G plan to 3G plan when I was already enrolled for 3G plan. Immidietly I dropped a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating my problem. In returns of that I got a response from vodafone & they checked & confirmed that it was wrongly charged to me & they cannot revise the bill for DEC 2011 month but they gave me assurance that it will be waved off in next bill (jan 2012). I asked him to send a mail stating the same & also told them I dont required revised detail bill but I want proof from your end that you accept your mistake. When I got my january month's bill, They did not wave off any rupee. Again I sent a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com & automatic response I got from server stating the you will be contacted within 2 days But no one has responded after that I sent many reminders but no one has responded to me. Finally after many attempts, I called to customer care 111 & talked to representative of vodafone, she finally forwarded my request to concern section & I got the call from ahemdabad office from a same person who confirmed that it was wronlgy charged to me in the month of january 2012, & this time he told me that no they cannot reverse the amount. Now the question is in the month of January he was lieing or now he is lieing. I understand that this is not the correct way to extract the money from customer. If they can calcuate the charges & uses in the end of the month for GPRS why they are not allowing to check the balance data available/consumed data of GPRS plan. All these are nothing but to extract the money from customer. Kindly look into the matter & request you to get wave off the amount charged to me in the month of December 2011.
