[Resolved] Vodafone — Vodafone rip off, Huge unexplained bill after porting out of vodafone | |
->I opted to port out of Vodafone due to the pathetic services. The porting request was sent on 14th December 2012. Changed to the new network on 21st December 2012. ->I did pay the outstanding amount on the latest bill. I am aware that there was still an unbilled amount that I needed to pay for the period beteween service provider change. -> Vodafone does not send the last bill, no email, no hard copies, no nothing. -> I am now informed by the new service provider that if I do not pay the oustanding amount of previous provider, my number will be disconnected. -> I approach Vodafone store, they say pay Rs 1280. -> Vodafone will not provide a bill to explain this huge bill. They will not even explain why this amount is charged. -> My average monthly bill for the past two years is Rs 500. -> asked them to at least send me a soft copy, answer is no. Same on their customer care number. -> Not allowed to view bill in the on-line account either. I am locked out of this account. I conclude that this is Vodafones way of ripping people off one last time when they get tired of the substandard services and opt to port out. I need to use my number, so i guess i will pay the bill now. Vodafone = thief. Was this information helpful? | |
