I had purchased a Voltas 1.5 ton ac on 26.03.12. Since purchase there is problem with the product & service a. The unit was installed on 20.04.12, almost after a month of purchase. b. After a month of installation there was problem with cooling & on complaining it was attended on 19.05.12. c. Again on the same problem was reported in the month of august 2012 which was attended on 21.08.12. Only Filters were cleaned & repositioned, d. In the month of December I booked a routine service which was not attended and again on complaining it was attended on 06.03.13, but the service was incomplete, & the problem of cooling was still unattended. The service engineer promised to return next day to solve the problem not did not turned. On contacting the service center the service was attended the following week. And for the cooling problem the person claimed the overheating summer days. e. Now the AC has stopped cooling at all, on complaining the service engineer attended the service today & informed that there is problem with the Aluminium Condensor Pipe of the outer unit from which very negligible amount of gas was leaking for the past several months & got empty as the warranty period is over I will have to pay for the charges totalling around Rs. 2600/-. And when I complained that why the problem was not attended earlier during warranty, they have no reply to that. Kindly provide me the remedy for the same. Voltas AC — defective model
I have purchased 1.5 ton AC voltas from prithvy electronic supela Bhilai from the date of purchase the AC is not working for this I complained to shopkeeper and customer care center many time but AC is not started now .as the purpose of AC purchasing for the main hot season is almost is finished .so I want my amount refund from the shopkeeper but he is not responding and misbehave with me so it is request to solve my problem my complaint no is 12ju0708213 in voltas customer care bill no is 991 dated 31/5/12 of prithvi electronic Akash Ganga complex Supela Bhilai 490023 Distt Durg (c.g.) my mb.no is [protected] name is Ajay kumar soni responsibility of shopkeeper for replacement of defective piece in due time or refund of money for new purchase

The Sale of Goods Act 1979 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. As you are in breach of contract I am entitled to have the AC has been replaced and I would request that you confirm that you will do this within the next seven days.
I also require you to confirm whether you will arrange for the AC to be collected or will reimburse me for the cost of returning it.
I look forward to receiving your satisfactory proposals for settlement of my claim within seven days of the date of this letter.

VOLTAS — New products - defective
complaints numbers ; 12MR1302313 , 12MR1302262I purchases two chest fridge from jaipur distributor M/s Trade and wings on 6 Mar 2012.
On reaching the products on 12 march I found that the locks of both the products were defective. I lodge the complaints as above on their toll free numbers.
After many reminders to different persons on different mobiles and assurance from all ,at last one service person came from Ajmer.
The service person inform me before coming that they have no locks in inventory and coming just for to attend and find out the things.
He repaired one lock but when he trying to repair the second one the lock has damaged . He said that he will come within 2 days with a new lock and change it.
When 4 days left I again call to the person then he answered very strange things that you had broken the lock and it has to be changed the entire door on PAYMENT.
As the new pieces are defective and the breakage was due to their own engineers how they demand the payment.
He even not take my sign on the report
Is this type of LOOT by TATA group?
