My name in Jeyabarani working for Infosys Technologies, Bangalore.
I have bought a reliance netconnect USB device from your Sales person (Dhamodharan) on 30-Sep-2009. I had paid Rs.3500 to this person and taken the device.
Device details:

I had submitted the following documents for the same:
1. Scanned copy of my photograph (to albert.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com)
2. Scanned copy of my Infosys ID card (to albert.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com)
3. Scanned copy of my Rental agreement (to albert.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com)
4. Scanned copy of my Infosys salary slip (to albert.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com)
5. Hard copy of HR letter for internet broadband connection (to Dhamodharan).
I still find that my device is not actived yet.
Even after repeated calls to Vriti Office Bangalore and to Albert, I have not been updated on the status of my request. I have tried several times calling to Sales representative, however on the rare occasions when my call is attended to, I have been told that he has raised a request with his senior officials and they will give an update to me on the very same day. I have not received an update on my request so far.
I have been told that the maximum time for getting the account actived is 72 hours. The time timit is far gone.
I would like to have an immediate action on my request or refund of my amount and the documents I had submitted.
I have already spent too much of my effort and time on repeated checking from my side. If this is not done, I would be submitting a case in Cusomer court for the harassment I have undergone.
Kindly look into the issue at the earliest and let me know the details.

Even I got trapped in the trap of Vriti, but the moment I realized something fishy, I searched this website and started following with reliance customer care for the activation, untill 72 hrs they kept telling me that they can do something only after 72 hours, by the time i submitted all the relavent documents at the reliance webworld, and made sure that the verification is happened within 72 hr window. in between i kept taking phone numbers of various reliance departments (calling for verification) phone numbers. when 72 hrs time passed i kept holding the Customer Service Lead of reliance customer care for about 2 hours and only then my call was transferred to the senior most person with escalation and only after assurance of taking action on vriti, i kept the phone down, next day my connection was active. I am enjoying free one month period currently.
one thing to be noted here is that reliance customer care is without hands and legs, they do not have any authority than passing on the information.
below are the steps once you buy a card:
1. Once you submit documents, it goes in back office and verification process starts
2. physical verification happens after 12 hrs
3. logical verification happens in next 8-10 hrs
4. data uploading in the system from the reliance webworld where you have submitted documents
5. after complete data is uploaded in the system your data card is activated
6. you receive a mail / call from reliance with all the configuration details

I have purchased Reliance Broadbanc datacard 3.1mbps and activated from 02 Sep 09. I want to know what happened with the offer of tour for Goa for 2 Nights/3 Days which is published with the advertisement of the datacard. What are the rules and what is the procedure I have no information about it.

Guys, unfortunately I also fell prey to the offer by “connectindia.in/Reliance-Data-Card” (Vriti Infocom) which comes as the first link if you do a search for reliance broadband netconnect. I submitted my details on the net & in turn promptly got a call from Ghanashyam ([protected]) call centre in Noida.
Having agreed to subscribe, was referred to Dinesh ([protected]) a representative of Vriti in Mumbai. As agreed, a third guy Sameer ([protected]) came on 14/10/2009 and collected the form & cash of Rs 3500 from my residence at Wadala (East) – Bhakti park and promised that the connection would be activated on the same day.
After rigorous follow-ups with reliance and Sameer, I managed to get the connection activated the next day but was of no use as I was not able to connect to the broadband network. Most of the time I could not find the broadband network or whenever there was network I got technical or other errors. I could connect only twice to the broadband network in last 2 weeks and that too with a maximum speed of 40-50 kbps
Have been calling reliance helpline since then, but with no success. The calls to Vriti's persons went unanswered. Finally, I was told to visit web world to check for technical problems or to speak to network team for the network issues.
Now comes the interesting part - on my final call to the customer care on October 24, 2009, I was told that my subscription has been SUSPENDED and the reasons being CONFIDENTIAL cannot be told to me by the customer care and hence, was advised to visit the reliance web world to understand the reasons.
Though being in Reliance's web already, I went to the Reliance Web World at Veer Nariman Road, Churchgate to understand the reasons for suspension. After waiting for around 40 minutes for my turn to come, was told that even they are not aware of the reasons and "As a matter of Process" they need to write to the back office to understand the reasons, which obviously would require me to re-visit them after couple of days.
Arguments around this brought a senior person () in to picture who finally managed to drop the bomb on me - I was told that Reliance has a exclusive tie-up with somebody called Shweta Communications for certain areas including Wadala (East) – Bhakti park and hence, Vriti was not authorised in first place to sell data cards in Wadala (East) – Bhakti park and hence, my connection being unauthorised has been suspended.
Solution provided?? I was asked to go back to Vriti and return the data card, get my money back and apply afresh for a reliance data card with the web world (I assume that they were being sarcastic in expecting somebody to comeback to reliance again!)
Asked if they can help me anyways - answer was a firm NO. On insistence - was given a telephone number of a nodal officer, which no body answered
I requested the web world guys to register my complaint or give me in writing whatever they told me but they refused firmly. Their response was that they cannot help as it is not a problem at Reliance's end and I should go back to the vendor who sold me this card.
The response from Reliance was very disappointing. Vriti being a channel partner for Reliance, they can’t just wash their hands off the entire matter by simply returning the customer. More so when they have registered the connection initially and activated the services
I have been trying to contact the Vriti's team (Ghanashyam, Dinesh & Sameer) since then but with no avail. After dozens of failed calls, I wrote a stern message to the 3 guys, maybe which made Dinesh to answer my call. Response?? Ignoring his tone for the time being, he referred me to another guy called "Jay". On my refusal to speak to another guy & narrating the story all over again and on insistence on him speaking to 'Jay" directly or at the max we jointly speaking to Jay, the response which I got was “THATS IT!!" and the guy disconnected the phone. He did not answer any calls after that.
What should I do?? I am currently contemplating a criminal complaint with police of fraud & cheating against Vriti Infocom, Ghanashyam, Dinesh & Sameer. Further a complaint in consumer forum on Reliance Communications, Vriti Infocom, Ghanashyam, Dinesh & Sameer to seek full refund of Rs 3500, termination of the post paid connection and damages. Further, there is no network coverage of broadband at my address contrary to the claims made by Reliance, entitling me to full refund on account of their inability to provide me the agreed services. Would request you guys to suggest some good lawyers who handle such matters or suggest some tips or alternative remedy which you might think is viable. Lawyers - please feel free to contact me.
PS –
1) I am ignoring currently the fact that I was given wrong information about the plans initially which led me to subscribe to the wrong plan. For this I managed to get a complaint registered with Reliance before suspension.
2) I have not been given a goa trip offer which was promised at the time of sale
3) Further, the broadband network in WADALA is pathetic and its not possible to connect to broadband anyways.

I Ordered Reliance NetConnect BroadBand + DataCard through online 12 days before, till now they didn't deliver my datacard I tried to reach customer care of Vriti[protected], this IVR system such a worst condition, when you try to call this number IVR will play the recorder Audio to wait for queue, after 2 mins its getting disconnected I am calling this number from Karnataka so tried this 5 time I lost the money but didn't get connect to Customer Care.

If its take too much time, then please return my money to my account. I don't have any patience to wait for such a long time its almost 12 days over.
But one bad thing about your customer service, when I am trying to reach your IVR system.. its put me hold on 2 mins after that call got disconnected I am unable to reach your customer service through phone.. I tried 5 times, every time I am lossing 1/- Re, Seems to be your IVR system has no capable to handle calls.

Hi, Iam VisweswaranThimma.I purchased reliance data card on 30th Oct 2009 by paying 3500 Rs from VRITI INFOCOM.The guy came to my office and delivered the product.I submitted all the necessary documents.But the data card is still not activated.The name of the person is Dinesh.S.
Dinesh mobile number is not reachable.No one is helping me on this.

I purchased the netconnect from Vriti. They offered goa package and 900/month for the whole year. Now they saying that you will be given only 1month internet free, but the offer I selected was for 200 waived off each month for 1 year. Also they offered Goa package but there is no response. This company is fraud. All those who are reading here, don't go for Vriti, it is just taking down the reliance company and its featured netconnect with 3.1 mbps. So guys don't ever trust this Vriti people.

one more number they given us of Mr Bhumitra[protected] but no response from his side tooo.
Very dissapointed with the service. RELIANCE must take strict action against this vriti telecom

I sent an Email through Reliance Communication website for Reliance 1X data card and thereafter i was contacted by Mr Rafik of Vriti Infocom Noida .I paid Rs 3500/- to Mr Raj (Mobile No [protected] )along with other required documents on 06.11.2009 and handed over the kit vide its MDN NO [protected]. Subsequently i came to know one by Mr Rahesh that i have been wrongly charged of Rs 3500 in place of 1800 . Since then i have called and contacted to all bastered of Vriti Infocom Noida either to activate my connection or replace it with 1x kit and refund the balance amount but of no avail .
Further, now i dont want your connection therefore you simply collect your kit and refund my amount otherwise i will certainly gto to consumer forum .
We again want to warn all those prospective Reliance net connect buyer, not to trust neither Reliance not Vriti Infocom Noida .

vriti infocom — Reliance Data Card
I have filled form for reliance data card on internet. I got a call from the executive regarding the data card and I asked him to visit my place. I gave him Rs. 3500 for the datacard and took the datacard. For 4-5 days the card was active. Later a person came for the address verification. I submitted him the required documents. After 2 days I received a call from reliance customer care saying that the service will be suspended due to negative address verification. I called reliance customer care several times asking regarding the negative address verification but they were not able to answer it and asked me to contact nearest webworld. When I visited webworld they told me as I am staying in Bhiwandi and no executive from outside Bhiwandi can come and give the datacard. so they have set it to negative address verification. When I contacted Vriti Infocom as they had given me the datacard for the same, they replied me we will check for it and let you know. Later on they told me, we will not be able to activate it, so we will give you the refund. I purchased this datacard on 24th September 2009 and till date I am following them for the refund but I am not getting the proper reply as when I will be getting the refund and what is the status. DEAR SIR,

I got a call from Delhi after having filled up a form for reliance data card. I am told that purchase of reliance data online will give a trip to goa. Is it true?
Even i did the worst mistake of taking the data card from these rascals at VRITI and did nto get the card activated till a week. They had said of giving a goa trip 3n/2d which is still pending. Bloody at vriti and reliance is no less.bloody cheats.
vriti infocom/reliance net connect brooadband + — termination of connection due to negetive address verification
hi everyone. i am also facing a similar complaint regarding vriti infocomm, noida. i purchased a net connect broad band + on 28 nov 2009. i had talked to mr abhinav pandey from sales deptt. when he asked for the address proof, i told him that i had my hospital id card issued by the Medical Supritendent, Guru teg bahadur hospital, dilshad garden, delhi. where i have been working for the past 5 yrs and will do so for another 10 yrs. he said that this id card will not be accepted as a residence proof. so i had to give him my driving license, which has the address of my home in gurgaon, but where my parents live, because i stay in delhi. when address verification was done, my parents were not present, as they both are in central govt jobs, but my bhai-bhabhi were present at the house.the verification agent went to my home, sat there and had tea, and after two days my connection was disconnected due to negetive address verification., due to this mistake, i have lost more than 7 lakhs in the past few days. i had complained to mr. vikas in vriti and he told me that "sir full refund will be given in this case". so as directed by him, i have now terminated my reliance connection due to such idiotic hassles and undue harrasments. and i now want my money refunded.
it has been 20 days since then, they are not picking up my calls, even if they pick up, some low level executive answers the phone and says that the concerned person is busy in a meeting. and once i managed to get hold of that person and he ASSURED me that refund will be given, but nothing has been done yet. i even asked them to send me an email confirming my refund as the whole process may take a month but atleast an email can be sent to assure me that the claims by the company are not false.
nut no email till date.
so many complaints against vriti, oh my god, the company should be banned

Dear sir,I have taken reliance net connet from the above companyon 22-09-09 and i have submitted the required docs to them. Intially they activated the connection for a week. And now since 1st october they have deactivated it they need some docs. Where as i have submitted what ever was demanded by their sales executive. All of them r trying toavoid the phone calls also when i tried to ring them .I have paid them Rs/3500 they told first month it will be rental free and then it will be charged. one week is already gone in the stipulated time and i am stuck with my work.They r simply cheating people. Thay r playing with their money and mind. I have seen so many complaints against this company on the internet and i request you to sort out my problemsoon and dothe need ful
