Western Digital / 500gb External Usb Drive — Western Digital Not honoring Warranty Term - Not providing replacement drive against Faulty Unit

Hi!

I purchased a 500GB External USB Hard Disk Drive in June 2009. It carried a Warranty of 3 years.

The Drive failed in September 2010. I raised an RMA as part of the process to get the drive replaced.
Since then I have been waiting for them to send me a replacement drive. Have had created two RMA request myself for the replacement as there is expiry date to each RMA requests, Western Ditital created one more RMA from their Side, They have also sent a courier and collected the defective drive from residence. Assured several times that they will be sending my relacement drive soon.

But I just keep waiting... I was wondering if Western Digital can be forced to honour their Warranty Committment through this forum..

Below is the complete detail of all RMA# & other references I have had with them since last 10 months.

Fyi, I have had 40 Email exchanges with Western Digital in the last 10 months, but without any end result

I purchased & registered a Western Digital 500GB Passport External USB Drive on 11/06/09

I did not get any replacement after repeated follow-up

I never got my defective drive replaced..

Since RMA date expired, I raised another RMA. Detail of the ame below.
This time too, I did not get any replacement after repeated follow-up

In 15th May 2011 Western Ditital people called up and told me that they have arranged "TNT Courier" to come and Pickup the defective drive.

Same day courier visited my residence and collected the defective drive. Below are the reference to that pickup detail by courier

Few Days after the defective drive was collected by courier from by Home, someone from Western Ditital called me again & said that they creating a New RMA as the older RMA#[protected] expired & will ship a Good replacement drive against the New RMA. Below is the New RMA #

Unfortunately the New RMA also expired on 7th June & I am still waiting for the Replacement drive
