On[protected], at Maninagar Rly. station, I was charged with a fine of Rs. 285/- for merely not signing my Monthly Season Ticket(MST). The amount of fine is equal to that taken from ticketless travellers whereas I had made the payment but merely not signed my MST. My photograph was also stuck all right on my ID card with the Rly. authority stamp across it. Is not signing the MST equal to a crime of ticketless travel?
