[Resolved] Western Railways — Unethical allocation of reserved seat
The following are my details of DOJ. Name Hardik Vora coach :S11 seat : 64 PNR [protected] date of Journey[protected] from chorwad Road to Borivali Train: VRL BCT pass express TC name Mr Agarwal name of accomplice Mr Tanvir train No:59460. Incident: Chorwad road dosent furnish list of seats that have got confirmed from waiting, so I boarded the general bogie as per railway staffs suggestion. I then managed to locate my seat and kept my luggage there, following which I went to use the loo. On coming back to my seat to my horror, the TC on duty had already allocated my seat to another passenger with RAC, the passenger agreed on record to having bribed the TC for the seat, I can furnish the proof on demand, when I contested with the TC he said that already more than a couple of stations had passed and that i should have been on my seat, now since he has already allocated it to someone else nothing can be done, when I protested he called an accomplice Mr Tanvir and threatened me of dire consequences if i retaliated, he said he will file a memo and an FIR with the RPF, stating that I was obstructing him in his line of duty, I said since I am back I need my seat and he can allocate another seat to the passenger with RAC, or alternatively help me with some other seat, he wouldnt budge, said I am ticket less now, and forced me off the train on Rajkot, saying that he is a bigger goon and is only behaving nice since he is on duty and will take my case if i try to lodge a complaint etc, I thought it is wise to alight and so I got down at Rajkot and took a bus to Mumbai which cost me Rs1200, let alone all the other hassles I faced,he said nothing will happen to him as he is a government employee. I would like strict action to be taken against the TC in question and an enquiry and vigilance team to be set up in this case. Please feel free to contact me for any further queries. email id :[protected]@gmail.com Was this information helpful?
