[Resolved] Whirlpool / Refrigerator — Poor Service | |||
To, Indian Consumer Complaints Forum Dear Sir, This is a complaint against poor service provided by Whirlpool India. The specific nature of the complaint is as follows: 1. On 6th of June 2010 we have lodged a service request at around 18.00 hrs over telephone, talking a customer care executive named Sneha. Service Request no. KL[protected]. She promised that their service engineer will contact within two hours. 2. The complaint was that our refrigerator was not cooling as it should be. 3. Two hours came after four days when some one called up on 11/06/2010 at 14.00hrs informing that he has arrived at door steps. I must inform you that the service man came without prior notification and it was all of a sudden. 4. The Service Engineer: It’s really shocking; to know that in Whirlpool India they call an amateur a service engineer. He does not know how to open the inner casing even. Anyway, what he has done has worsened the condition of the refrigerator. It was not at all cooling; Fast ice mode took for 250ml water took 7 hours to form ice. (Company promised 30mins). 5. Worried with this situation I called up again on 11.06.2010 at 19.10 hrs; when customer care executive Gaurav promised that next day itself they are going to send some senior personnel to check over. The senior engineer is still arriving……… Annoyed and harassed by the situation, frustrated by false promises and dissatisfied by services of Whirlpool India, I am writing this letter.
