Whirlpool Washing Machine — Washing machine burst while washing

I have purchased whirpool washing machine semi automatic sparkle model on[protected] in jainsons
mylapore chennai.Three months back washing machine burst due to water leakage, we have informed the service team they have corrected it but today we faced the same problem.same way the washing machine burst and creates smoke.I am totally upset because this washing is done by my old mother she is very much distracted mentally as well as physically.I have very much trust in whirpool products and i have also referred whirpool products to my collegues and my neighbours, but today i have faced and felt the bad on whirpool product because of this two consequetive incidents.

Within a year i have got two major problem on my washin machine.Due to this my mother is afraid
of washing clothes with that washing machine even though it was repaired.

This is ridhanya from coimbatore, Tamilnadu... I totally agree wit wat u say.. i bought a whirpool fully automatic Washin machine durin Dec 2008 which created lots of problems.. i was upset with the condition of the machine and also wit the poor service of Whirpool for the past 3 months.. Whenever i called up the customer care and made a complaint reg the non workin of my washing machin, they told that they wud immediately attend by sendin a service executive, but never turned up at anytime.. Many times i was left unattended even without a proper reply.. Due to frustration, i consulted an advocate and asked for a legal advice in order to file a consumer case against the whirpool.. Through him, i sent a legal notice... Surprisingly, within two days of the receipt of the legal notice wich i sent throu this lawyer, the service men came to my house and made my washin machine work properly..Thanks to the advocate...! Now my machine works properly without any problem..

Before six days I have sent email to you but not reply as yet. My washing machine not function smoothly . Water not to be heat . I have lodge complain service centre at Begusarai Bihar in the month of june09 but not response as yet.Information regarding service centre -mobile no [protected] [protected] & [protected]

Whirlpool Washing Machine — Continuous complaints of machine stoppages,drum problems etc

We have an whirlpool automatic washine purchased in October 2007 in Chennai.The machine has been giving a lot of problems right from the start.A lot of complaints have been registered and attended but the inconsistency of the machine remains.Now,the customer care also does not register the complaints as earlier complaints are still open.The last complaint was given on 24th december2009 with complaint no.22693.but no one has attended the complaint.The call to customer care has been of no use yet again as the last complaint according to them( dated 14/12/09) is still not closed thus no new complaint will be registered.Whirlpool mamangement is pathetic and does not repond at all and keep diverting the calls to Customer care.

We need help to get either or money back or get a replacement of the machine.

Dear All,
I wish to bring to your kind notice the following facts about my Whirl pool top loading 2003 model(White Magic F 65) washing machine:

1) The said Whirl pool washing machine (was purchased at Navi mumbai Vashi through sumaria out let.)

2) Subsequently we paid by 2003 4 th. Dec. a sum of 1080 for service contract with KASTURIENGINEERS. In receipt of the message of our contract with Kasturi engineers, we recived a letter from Whirl pool's vice president - cosumer services Mr.Shantanu Dasgupta authenticating the contract and Home care plan number and an authenticating note.

3) But we never had a chance of the visit of the Kasturi Enineers to service our said Whirl pool washing machine due to no reason from our end and may be the president of Whirl pool shoul be knowing.

4) Now since our Whirl pool washing machine has started to give some trouble like stopping frequently while washing is going on I approached the service engieer Mr.Shaikh from Royal service at Vashi ( Navi Mumbai) they informed us we have to use a descaling powder known as scale gone / Clear Must ETC, to clean the scales formed below the arbor, and the same is not given in service manual when the said Whirl pool top loading machine was launched, but Whirl pool manufacturer has started to add the name of the chemical in their susequet brochures of subsequent models which is not made to our knowledge.

5) Also nobody from Kasturi Engineers is available now to settle there non servicing of machine during 2003 to 2007.

6) The latest issue is for servicing the machine by Royal I have to pay money for the service call and washing machines PCB has to be changed at a cost of Rs.3000/-.

7) Please give me justification for my grievances.

We have an whirlpool full yautomatic front loading washine machine purchased in January 2006 in Patna ( Model no 9180. sl, no 1NB[protected]The machine has been giving a lot of problems right from the start.A lot of complaints have been registered and attended but the inconsistency of the machine remains.Now, the customer care also does not register the complaints as earlier complaints are still open.The last complaint was given on[protected] with complaint no 263. and the machine was broght to Pana repair center but no one has attended the complaint. no new complaint will be registered.Whirlpool mamangement is pathetic and does not repond at all and keep diverting the calls to one man to other.The charges for components required for repair for Rs6800/ only has been deposited by me to the Whirlpool on 03.03.2011

I have bought a Whirlpool Washing Machine in the month of January 2012. There is a water leakage problem in the machine. Despite repeated complaints to the customer care NOBODY bothers to attend to the problem. The issue was escalated to the Area Supervisor in Bangalore (Banashankari-Kumaraswamy Layout), and yet it is of no avail. Is this the way customers are attended to in Whirlpool? After a complaint number is generated, it gets automatically closed in the system WITHOUT being attended to. This is a very deplorable way of handling things.

I am lodging a consumer complaint against Whirlpool and would bring up this matter across forums so that people are aware of how the customers are attended to.
