[Resolved]  Woodland Shoes — Disgusting product quality & Service

I have purchased a pair of shoes for my wife from Woodland Shoes franchaisee M/s. Jiwand Singh & Sons, Woodland Store (E-11, N.D.S.E. Part-II Ph.[protected], New Delhi-110049 on 3rd January[protected] Hrs) vide their Cash Memo#11135 for Rs.1, 795.00 (30% Discount). The model No. of the item is 1A161 Off White, size 39. On 4th January (0700 Hrs) while wearing the shoe one of the support elactic snapped-off ( Left Shoe) while my wife was walked the first few steps after the purchase to go to office. She some how managed for that day, however the second support elastic snapped off in the same shoe on 5th January. We sensed that there definately is a manufacturing defect in the left shoe, hence we went back to the franchise on 6th January with the concern. The attendants at the cash counter behaved like local street-side endors...They fired series of questions on how when and why? As if they have gifted us the shoe or they had paid for it. Next, one of them said that we can leave the shoe for repair..I agitated as who would want a repair for a brand new shoe with defect..I wanted immediate replacement. There were 3 attendants at the cash counter who said that only repair can be done and when I warned them that I would have to take the matter up with consumer's forum, these unprofessional people said that they will send the shoe for examination to the company and till then we have to wait and the time duration can be till a month or 2. It was very clear that either they wanted to force us to repair or probably "Woodland" does not understand after sales stuff. Let me let you know that even a local shop or any other reknowned (Reebok, Nike, Bata, Liberty) brand replaces the shoe without giving any absurd reasoning or asking illlogical questions..the only thing they understand is that the shoe is faulty.

However, for this disgusting service & behaviour..I want my money back any replacement will not suffice. You guys have to compensate for the inconvenience and embrassment caused..I'm giving you a dead line of 24 hours, after which I will get this addressed through consumer forum..and mind you, I'm not an illeterate and will not let this go.
