[Resolved] Datawind — Defective Ubislate 7ci | |
After 9 months of waiting for my device to arrive, Datawind sent me a faulty device. I emailed their techsupport team on Feb 21st, 2013 and I'm yet to receive a reply from them. After trying their support number around a 1000 times, I was asked to send the device to their service center in Hyderabad. I gave it there and after waiting for 25 days and calling them up instead of receiving a notification from them, my device came back unrepaired. The company needs to understand that they aren't giving away devices for free--when you take the money, you need give your customer something that works!! pathetic and rude and hopeless service. an absolute scam! This is regarding a complaint raised about my Ubislate 7Ci since the time I received it. The battery is discharging even after the tablet is switched off/shut down.
Complaint and service history:
A. I was asked to send the device to their service center in Hyderabad. I gave it there and after waiting for 25 days and calling them up instead of receiving a notification from them, my device came back unrepaired.
B. The second time Datawind decide to do a home pick up and drop of my device because of the unresolved issue. The tablet was picked up by fedex on June 25th tracking number[protected] and I received it today, with the problem still unresolved.
Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

Asking me to pay 1000 INR and upgrade to Ubislate7C+ is not the solution to the problem. Please refund the total amount of INR 3500 I paid if you can't send me a new and functional device. You can issue the cheque in the name of: Soumya Nalam. The amount of time and money I've wasted on this is enough.
I want a complete refund for the faulty crap that you people are selling! Stop emailing me and calling me to sell new devices.
