Council of Architecture Complaints & Reviews

I am student of architecture in bharath school of architecture, chennai. I would like to bring forward certain concern regarding the falling standards of the college. We are approximately 130 students in number (Excluding the intern students). We have very less faculty (3 staffs-freshers and 2 visiting staffs and one hod) moreover new to teaching. Even, the hod was prevuiously working as asst professor for the past 2 years and due to no intake of staffs, she was appointed as hod. We don't have any software, nor cad computers. The college management doesn't support us nor faculty in any means. Computer lab has only 10 systems in working condition that too not updated. None of the softwares are installed. No workshops, semainars nor site visits. None of the academic works are being carried out.
No classes are being conducted, but in results alone, they are giving very less marks. We, students are writing our exams on our own. No infrastructure at all. Only 3 classrooms for all the 5 years and 1 computer lab that too without fan and ac.
A blackmark is given for the students who are complaining about the department condition. Even sometimes, arrears are given ion the sem exams for those marked students. Very bad attitude shown by the department.
We request you to take necessary actions against the department and the staffs and make our career safe.

Dear sirs,

I have taken admission in department of architecture for my daughter saumya raj, through acpc at ramanbhakta university, bardoli. I paid full fees and mean while, within a week we got admission in apied, vidhya nagar which is very closed to our home town vadodara.

At the time of admission in collage management told us that they will refund full amount if we cancel the admission within 15 days.

Now when we are asking for refund to collage administration they says, as per the acpc rule you are not eligible for the refund.

Can you please guide us what is the acpc rule and why i cant get my fees back?

I graduated this year in 2017, since last 3 months i am finding a job, but not a single architecture firm has job openings, and after giving interviews there's just a rejection, its very frustrating and 80% of my collegues who graduated are unemployed and jobless and trying to find a job but not geting one. Its very depressing for us, we study hard for 5 years but we do not get any placement from college. We have to search for a job on our own. Also the pay for freshers is way less than mentioned in council of architecture... Its really a depressing situation, and i want to really start working. Many of my friends including me are frustated we pay so much around lakhs to do b. Arch just to face the harsh reality that theres no scope and money in architecture and no jobs for fresher architects. Please kindly take a note of this and help us find jobs.

In between college started on august 16, on behalf of taking second semester. Exam they have taken first semester exam on 6-7 june. The time period in between is about 1st year and also we are still awaiting for our result, 2nd semester exam schedule is also in disorder. They had already taken the free of 3rd semester. The 3rd semester they have started but didn't taken of 2nd semester exam and 1st semester result.

I had written nata exam on june 13th 2016 i got 116 marks out of 200 would this marks be considered for the results of nata for the year 2017-18. D oes they consider even the 12th/2nd puc marks. Should i write it again in 2017 or my 2016 would be considered instead? Please reply for my request and please send me your decision regarding the above mentioned subject

I am payal chafle i had fill application form of nata and completed all the three steps of form including payment rs.1250 but now i am not getting my admit card. As i lost my application number i tried to get my application number on 'forget application no?' but it shows that my 'application no. Not found." so i want my application no. Immediately or refund of my money kindly.

On inquiring the bank, I was informed that the payment was successful and the money was payed to merchant. Regarding degree of bachelors in architecture

We are the architecture graduates from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (Rajasthan). Almost 7 years have passed since our graduation but till date we have not been able to register ourselves as an Architect by the Council of Architecture.
As per Architect’s Act-1972, after getting a bachelor’s degree in architecture, one has to apply to the Council of Architecture (COA) to register himself. But unfortunately, COA has rejected our applications stating our qualification is not recognized. I am attaching here a letter of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) dated 5th September 2007 in which MHRD has clarified that the degree of Jai Narain Vyas University is duly recognized and the COA does not have any discretion to refuse the registration. I am also attaching herewith a letter from Technical Education Department, Government of Rajasthan dated 08.04.2008 in which it is stated that the degree of Jai Narain Vyas University should not be derecognized & the registration to the pass outs should not be denied by the COA.
To give you a brief idea, the department of architecture was commenced by Jai Narain Vyas University in 1998. Every year there had been regular admissions with the intake of 30 students with permission of COA & AICTE. Till date hundreds of students have passed out from this department. The futures of all those students have come to a stack because of injustice of COA. In the absence of registration, we are not eligible for any government jobs nor can we apply for higher education in India and abroad.
You are therefore requested to look into the matter and do justice to us. We would be grateful if you can give us an appointment to brief you about all the facts and summary of the whole story.
