To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Country Club regarding their unethical and fraudulent practices.
On 12th-Jan-2019, I paid an amount of Rs. 60, 000 towards a membership at Country Club. Despite paying the full membership fee, I have not availed of a single service offered by the club till date. When I approached them to request a refund for the amount paid, they have outright denied my request without providing any valid justification.
Furthermore, despite my non-usage of any facility or service, they are now forcing me to pay annual maintenance charges, which is completely unjustified. It is highly unfair and unethical to demand maintenance charges from a member who has not availed of any services.
I feel cheated and harassed by their behavior, and it clearly reflects a pattern of misleading customers, unfair trade practices, and financial exploitation.
I request:
Immediate refund of Rs. 60, 000 paid towards membership.
Immediate cessation of demands for annual maintenance charges.
Strict action against the fraudulent practices followed by Country Club.

The below false information provided by country club executive:

1. Firstly they told me that they have more than 1000 properties with category 4-5 stars owned by the country club and when I checked they have limited properties at limited destinations and property category is 1-2 stars.

2. They told us, using their membership, we can avail breakfast and dinner facilities at their properties for only 630 Rs but in 70-80% of their properties no breakfast and dinner facilities are available.

3. They mentioned we can use their gym membership and they also have their associated gym in wagholi also but they don’t have any associated gym in wagholi.

4. They told us AMC charges 6000 rs inclusive of GST and in the app it shows 7080 rs and AMC only needs to pay while using their properties . If you are not using their properties, no need to pay AMC. But when I discussed it with my friends they told me we will be getting continuous calls from customer care for AMC.

5. They told us we can rent our holidays week from day 1 after taking their ownership but now they are saying we can rent our holidays after one year.

6. I have read a lot of negative reviews about you that you are not genuine and you are looting customers. You had done the same thing with many of your customers and never provided services to them.

7. I have been told that the transaction is done through no cost EMI but when I asked citi bank about no cost EMI, they told me the merchant has not communicated to them about no cost EMI.

8. During booking they told us we can book any property during any season and now they are saying for booking any property we need to tell them before 15-20 days.

9. They told us we can borrow next year's holidays and use this year and maximum of 4 week(6n 7D) we can use in a year but that is not true. In the app we are eligible only for one week leave in a year. After completing one year, we are eligible for 2 W leave.

10. Most important point about utility charges, they never mentioned utility charges during meetings and now they are introducing it.

Now in every aspect you have done fraud with me and for this you have to bear consequences. Waiting for your kind response.

    Yesterday I got scammed by country club. After taking the membership I read the reviews about country club and I feet I got cheated. They will never tell you about the cool down period. They will just say this fee is non- refundable but if you check there app agreement there they have written a cool down period of 10 days. I have already mailed them that I want to cancel my membership and still they haven't replied please help me get cancelled my membership and refund my hard earned money.

      There is lack of maintenance in the club. No proper drinking water filter. There is only one barrel which is kept on a stool near the gym on the ground floor. Not sure if the water is drinkable. No neat and clean changing rooms for gym, swimming pool or any other sports for the members. All toilets are filthy and stink a lot. Changing rooms next to the gym have toilets which are not cleaned nor there is water in the taps. No lockers as committed during buying membership. Gym is located in basement with no proper ventilation. There is no window nor there is any exhaust which could lead to suffocation, It's been operated with only 4 A/Cs which are insufficient. These A/Cs are also not properly maintained. Thers always a leakage issue happening and the water comes on the floor which could lead to short circuit, or any member would get a shock. Any mishap happens in the Gym then there's is no secondary or emergency way to come out as its got only one entry and exit point.

          I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and formally request a refund for the membership plan I purchased for ₹1.60 lakhs from Country Club India on[protected] . My membership was secured based on misleading and false information provided to me during a presentation.

          Initially, I was contacted with the claim that I had won a gift and simply needed to collect it. However, upon my arrival, I was subjected to a one-and-a-half-hour presentation about the membership plan and its features. During this presentation, I was assured of several benefits that turned out to be false:

          I was told there are 40+ owned properties and numerous associated properties available for my use. This information is inaccurate.
          It was stated that Country Club India would assist in booking flights at discounted rates, which is untrue.
          When I inquired about hidden charges, I was explicitly told there were none. After completing the payment, I discovered that there are AMC fees of ₹7000 that must be paid even if no travel bookings are made.
          These misrepresentations are unacceptable, and I feel that I was coerced into purchasing this membership under false pretenses. Given the numerous inaccuracies in the information provided to me, I am requesting a full refund of ₹1.60 lakhs. I do not wish to retain or use the membership.

            I was a member of country vacations. Last year country club vacations AMC team contacted me to upgrade to VIP membership committing 6N 7D complimentary holidays without any charges for own properties with 10 yrs + 2 yrs of carry over holidays on email. But after I paid for membership they have not updated the same in my membership. And from Mar 24 when am asking them to book the complimentary holidays they are not supporting. When I tried to reach out to all heads etc...none of them are helping resolve the issue. Instead they are saying we can't honour the commitment because the committed employee has resigned. The heads Mr.Sai Baba is very rude and speak to us very harshly. I want this to be raised at highest level in country club.y

              I have applied for life time membership of Country Club on 30/06/2017 through V3S Mall, Vikas Marg, Delhi Branch (as per the invitation and after so many discounts/commitments) but when I have received a call & mail from the head office, I understand that commitments are false. Then I have mailed the concern person on same day. But not got the clear reply. After that I have called to your customer care and mailed them on [protected]@countryclubmail.com, so many times from 30/06/2017 to 25/08/2017 but as per your general practice, no reply received. Then I have filled a case in the District Consumer Forum, Delhi on 19/09/2017.
              Now the Forum has ordered to pay my deposited amount with interest and Rs 10000.00
              But you have not paid this amount till date, now I will go for the recovery from your assets.
              I am attaching the copy of order. Also note this order was sent to your Faridabad, Haryana office too.

                To Whom It May Concern,

                I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the inefficient services, poor customer support, and false promises made by your sales manager, Jay Prakash, at Country Club.

                I am deeply dissatisfied with the level of service provided by Country Club, particularly concerning the inability to book holidays when required. Despite assurances and promises made by Mr. Jay Prakash during the sales process, the reality of my experience has fallen far short of expectations.

                The lack of responsiveness and assistance from your customer support team has only exacerbated the situation. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues, I have yet to receive satisfactory solutions.

                In light of these ongoing problems and the failure to deliver on the promises made at the time of enrollment, I am left with no choice but to request the cancellation of my membership and a full refund of any fees paid.

                I expect prompt action to address this matter and provide me with the necessary steps to initiate the cancellation process and obtain a refund as soon as possible.

                Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide confirmation of the actions taken to resolve it.

                  Hi,

                  I took membership recently on 27th dec, 2023 with the amount of 35000. On 29th we checked all Google reviews and service agreement which is totally not up to mark, so we called country club manager "Ravi kiran" to cancel my membership, he said he will be cancelling after I receive my vip membership card.

                  Could you please help me in cancelling this membership and refunding my money back.

                    This is Suraj Kumar, recently became member of country club. At Kandivali, Mumbai country club branch.
                    I am writing to make complaints against false advertising and cheating by your employees in sales.
                    I was offered below mentioned but got none of them.
                    1. 10 years package while paying. Got 5 years package instead.
                    2. Life time membership free of cost of sports facilities. AMC was disclosed later.
                    3. Free passes of all events at country club. Now I am told I will have to buy AMC offer package of new year events passes.

                    Complaint:
                    1. This is false advertising. Cheating and fraud. Breach of trust and offer.
                    2. Undisclosed and hidden charges and payments.
                    3. Wrong package selling.

                    Resolution:
                    1. Immediate action and resale of my membership with full cost refund. INR 40, 000/-.

                      Myself Darshan Shrawarna speaking behalf my father Dr Dhiren Sarmah. My father trapped in their advertisements and fake promises took their membership and a total sum of 1, 25, 000 INR. The client which contacted my father left the job and contacted again. Its been few years, every year ask for membership renewal but we never used their memberships offers or any kind of perks and benefits. Now when we ask for our membership cancellation and refund they always refuse. Kindly help; my father is retired & it would be of great if we can get our money back.                         I get nearly 5-6 calls daily following up for AMC of Country club. The process is just not streamlined at the company level. Even after i paid the same through web site, i keep getting calls saying my payment is not reflecting in the system.
                        How can a customer be responsible if country club or its outsourced party has a ridiculous software, site to track payments. It absurd if the company/agent expects me to pay with them online, when they call & keep receipt, mail them back & stuff
                        Pls add me to the DND list & keep mail transactions on as my AMC is paid already

                          I had bought a membership for 35000 in June 2023.
                          Later, in July I spoke with your sales executive wishing to upgrade my membership to get a better holiday experience from 7across hotels. The executive confirmed that I have to pay an extra Rs. 25000 and my membership will be upgraded and also get an DAE card and a 10 year holiday package. I paid the amount the same day on 22nd July 2023.
                          Later when I followed up I was told in a very casual approach that I will have to pay 5000 rupees extra to get the card. On confronting I was informed that they are trying to get the card which I will get in some days. After a few days I was told that I will have to pay 10000 rupees extra which I refused to, then again I was asked for sometime.

                          However, even after more than 1.5 months I have not yet received the card. Sales Executive always buys a time and never calls me back, I have to always follow up and I get a response only after multiple missed calls and chats.
                          Today when i called him again, he said the same thing that i will have to pay 10000 extra, so technically there has been no further update since July and today he told me that I am getting 10 years holiday with the extra money i paid.

                          I feel cheated because a 10 years holiday was already committed for the 35 thousand package, he also asked to me talk to DAE directly for my concerns, which I do not feel right as i have taken a membership from countryclub and not DAE. The executive was very rude in his behavior, he was yelling and also hung up the phone on me. I also asked him for his senior's contact so that i could apprise of my situation but he refused to share. I also do not find any remorse in your executives tone and I have been taken very lightly and for granted.

                          I sent emails and multiple chasers to the central email address but still they was even a single response.

                          After having a feeling of no hope i agreed to pay 5K to get the DAE card. And even after more than 10 days i still did not get the payment link after repeated committed from countryclub to provide the payment link.

                          I do not want to further proceed with this membership, can someone please help to refund my money

                            I have received a mail on 26.04.2023 from country club ([protected]@countryclubmail.com) (EMPLOYEE ID : CCI3024) to upgrade my above mentioned membership to VIP membership.

                            I have made the payment on 16.05.2023, but till then I have not received any communication form the Country Club regarding upgradation of my membership.

                            The contact no. provided in mail is now not working [protected].

                            I had tried many times to reach out through email and calls unfortunately not get any response from county club.

                            Request you to please look into the matter.

                                    It's a Fraud company. There is no system with which you can get booking. No one knows how to do booking. They have taken maintenance till 2025 but I am getting many calls to pay advance maintenance for years later 2025. I have not used the service since 2020 as don't know how to book. The number using which I booked my first and last booking do not respond anymore. While paying for maintenance they provided the food voucher which are not usable in many of their locations. Also with food voucher they provide only 50% discount which no one inform you when you pay maintenance. Pathetic service. Pathetic resorts. I want my money back.

                                      I got the member CVPU1VVIPE15LB276908 and told us they are giving us 30 year membership in same amount of 5 year and total amount they took was Rs 150550, later I got to know that I have entrapped with false promise and fake app . and hence I mailed immediately to cancel the member and refund the amount, also I sent the letter of cancellation to there head office in Hyderabad and got the email confirmation and it will be refunded in 120 days as attached, but now it has been 150 days no refund, none of there customer care number works and no one answer now on emails .they are fraud people and show there professionalism how they have handle the situation if I would have even taken decision to remain with them . I need the refund Asap. please help.
