I am sending this message from Lakeland, FL, USA, II applied for exchange of PIO card to OCI on April 28th along with all the documents required. One of the requirements was payment of $51.50 that included the cost of two courier service charges. One was was return to the copies of the documents submitted and the second one was for forwarding my U.S passport and the new OCI card. I was given web ref :USAA022C3X16. My application was processed with no problems and I received my passport and the OCI card on Aug 3rd. What was missing was the return of a check representing one curier charge of $15/ which was supposed to have been used to return the copies of documents originally submitted but were not. So, I sent a message to their enquiries division on Aug 7th asking them to return the amount either by sending a check or crediting my AmExp creditcard.Then began an endless correspondence. Enquiries referred to Refunds div who asked me proof of payment which I had originally submitted along with my application. I again submitted the same three times. So far I sent 29 messages to them and received 9 messages with no resolution. I am still waiting for my money. I even told them that I would approach all the media and our Embassy in Washington and New Delhi. But no result. There are 7 staffers involved in this. That is why I am sending this message.
