[Resolved] Cox & Kings India — excess amount charged,concealment of facts,deficiencies in customer service etc | |||
Apart from other plus & minus and please arrange to refund the excess amount charged by your Manager at Bhubaneswar centre during my tour to Europe under Marvels of Europe tour.All have promised to look into the matter before my departure and also assurance given by your manager at Bhubaneswar before and after my tour, even yesterday i.e.21.08.2017, he assured me the amount might have been credited.I will verify and then will reply.The detail is appended below:- As per your t&c at the time of booking it was finalised that expenses will be Rs.120000.00 per person Ex-Delhi and with this I agreed to accept your offer.As we are 4 persons, my cost will be Rs.120000.00*4=Rs.480000.00 and I planned accordingly.But at the time of visa I paid Rs.172000.00 and before departure Mr. Avinash, Manager told me to pay Rs.325000.00, otherwise he told me you will not get any refund. It was as per our Company demand.For every query, he replied one thing i.e.it is company's demand.Hence I paid as under Total amount paid by me Rs.172000.00+Rs.325000.00=Rs.Rs.497000.00 against your demand at the time of booking of Rs.480000.00 as I have no other option at the last moment..My budget got derailed and during this I have talked to your manager & .official concerned, official of OTDC, .But every body told me to first enjoy the trip and then we will look into the matter. Apart from cancellation charges of Rs.68000.00 was paid by me, which was not disclosed till the rescheduling of the date.After my payment of Rs.172000.00 to Mr.Avinash, he told me cancellation charges of Rs.68000.00 will have to pay by me otherwise my entire amount will be non-refundable.If he would have been talked me earlier, I would have been cancelled/postponed my tour after making payment of cancellation charges to our orgn.I asked repeatedly to him about the cancellation charges, but he never gives the details. Moreover, we travelled with other 6/7 families from different parts of India.I asked them about tour packages.Their tour packages was also booked @ Rs.120000.00 per person and they have paid accordingly.They have also been supplied with one Cox&King handbag, what we have been deprived off, even never informed about it. A lot of thing happens during this horrible experiences.Staying arrangement t hotel was far far below.I will rate 1 out of 10.All customers have complaint over staying arrangement & charges.Pl verify feedback forms.if you really understood my agony and financial loss as well as mental torture, please arrange to refund the excess amount of Rs.17000.00 in my accoun. Plz treat the matter as extremely "Urgent & Important" Your reply from local sales Manager:- We have mentioned about the refund of your excess amount if any, if the same is not acceptable, you are free to take up the matter to whatever forum you want. Sep 24, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved Please refer to my trailing mail on several dates and arrange to solve my problem immediately and refund my excess amount, which was demanded on last day of the tour i.e.on 18.06.2017 over mobile phone by your territory manager posted at Bhubaneswar otherwise your tour will be cancelled.I was at Delhi at that time for departure with my family members, As I had NO OTHER OPTION, I paid entire excess amount .I contact one my colleague and on the strength of my mobile message, entire amount was debited from my account. Everything I will submit in evidences including complaint of other travelers with me. Your Office has acknowledged the excess charge taken but not yet refunded the amount even after 2 and half months already passed.
Pl expedite the case.
