[Resolved] Croma — Faulty television set delivered | |||
Hi- I bought Samsung television exactly 1.5 years back. I understand my warranty period has expired. However, the television piece that was dispatched to me was already defective in terms of the Panel that had dust. Initially (1st year), I thought there was only small dust particles, however, over time, the black spots have circulated and I have dark spots on my TV, with just 1.6 years of its life. I was told by the service person today that I need to change the Panel that would cost roughly INR 25K. Now, this is a big 'investment' for me and I find Croma responsible for not delivering quality product although I had paid a big price for this television (INR 64 K). The warranty period was I believe 1 year, however, I had this problem right from day 1 of buying the product (although it did not seem like a large issue initially). Over time, the panel is showing lot of dark spots. The onus is on Croma to deliver a good gadget and not harass the customer for paying up for the faulty Panel. Was this information helpful? | |||
